I have the cryos expedition gtx parka 800 from many years I wanted something new I got the McMurdo it's an amazing parka very light. -7 Celsius very warm.

I had some extra money and I wanted to make sure that if I buy one of the most expensive winter jackets it will last a lifetime and protect me from snow and very cold weather without having to use 20 clothing layers. Well I must say that I am very happy with this purchase. The only watch out is the size. Runs big!

I take my German Shepherd out to the park for her playtime regardless of the weather. This parka is outstanding for keeping me comfortably warm. Olympia, Washington area does not get severely cold, past week in the 20's to 30's. We haven't had rain since I just got it, confident it will work.It's a quality product. Like the extra pockets, hood, Velcro front flap. I'm happy with my purchase!

Bought this jacket about 2 months ago from the north face store in the tanger outlets and it's honestly the best jacket especially for the price and the quality is second to none

I use this coat when the temperature is zero or below. I live in Iowa and we just had -20 degree weather with the wind chill. This coat handled it perfectly! I was nice and warm with either a flannel or T-shirt and thermal. I had a Carhartt Extremes parka and this McMurdo runs laps around it. Take it from a guy that can't ever seem to get warm, you need this parka.

I stood and watched the Bills crush the 49ers while the snow came down. I was almost too warm. I cleaned my car off in sub zero temps wearing boots, gym shorts and this jacket. I could have stayed out longer and not been bothered by the temp. A highly recommended jacket for those days when it's so cold you'd rayher not leave the house.
