My youngest hates to be cold. We have been looking for a coat that is comfy and warm without being bulky. This coat has great pockets and has kept them warm all winter!

Super parka. I bought a Canada Goose for 5 times the price and returned it for the North Face. Warm enough for Michigan winters, yet not overkill.

I bought this coat for my husband and he loved it. It's extremely warm and true to size.

Extremely warm for Chicago's harsh winters. Very comfortable with a relaxing fit, so you don't feel constrained. Also, it is water-resistant, so you don't end-up home soaking wet. A minor problem is the zipper, near the throat, sometimes it can grab on my beard and cause me some pain.

Bought this coat for my husband for those brute cold days in New York. He loves it. He has to stand and wait for the city bus, and if you know anything about NYC transportation services, they are always late. But it does not matter to hubby anymore. He"s got his North Face on. It keeps him nice and warm. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this coat.

THIS IS THE CRME DE LA CRME, I absolutely love this jacket! It is warm, it is waterproof, and i genuinely enjoy wearing it :) The only draw back I would say is that there is no drawstring on the bottom so there is occasional wind that comes through the bottom. However at the same time the Brickhouse Red is to DIE for!

I live in the coldest metropolitan city in the US - Minneapolis, so a warm coat is a necessity. And I don't just want a warm coat, I want the WARMEST coat. I've had a North Face parka for the last 6 years and realized it was time to upgrade. Didn't even consider other brands given the lifetime warranty on zippers/rips/etc and how well my previous TNF coat held up. Happy to say it was a smooth transition into the Mcmurdo. The 550 down is top notch and keeps you warm. I love the slanted, insulated hand pockets on the chest. I'm 5'8" and 170lbs and the Medium fits perfectly. Length hits upper thigh and the double zippers come in handy for sitting/more active times. I would always recommend TNF jackets to anyone who asks. Would buy this particular coat again

Excellent, very warm!

I'm from Louisiana & was headed to Boston, Massachusetts to work at the hospital. Fast forward two weeks. It was a 11 degrees this morning when I woke you up. Basically I wouldn't have made it without my jacket & boots. Life saver for the southern boy!!! Need more gear now!!!

Never owned a coat this warm love it!

Great jacket!! Kept my husband toasty warm on our ski trip; bought it as an after ski jacket, but you could probably use it on the slopes too. Love that the fur around the hood is removable - nice option along with all the other great details of this jacket.

My son bought this coat and loves it. I bought one for my husband. He was skeptical of the faux fur hood. Now he wonders how he ever got through winter without it!

They run big, i sized down. This jacket is SO warm I feel completely swaddled every time I put it on. Definitely recommend.

Daily wear

I love North Face, this is my second parka and it never disappoint! I had the previous one for 4 years It doesn't move! The only reason I bought this one is that the former for stolen!
