It is a warm jacket that repels water well. The detachable faux fur is a nice touch. My only complaint is the use of velcro instead of snaps on the sleeves and the zipper cover.

I bought this parka for my boyfriend and he loves it. He has been looking for a winter jacket to help him through the cold winters and this just works phenomenally. It's warm, functional, a lot of pockets. It' s like he can't stop wearing it. He wants the weather to be cold outside just for him to wear it.

I'm going to use it for every day wear and recreational wear. Quality is top tier, super warm. Fitting is great. I would definitely recommend this jacket for cold weather. This jacket overall is very nice.

Needed a good winter coat for colder weather, and it was a choice between the McMurdo and the Outerboroughs - Overall, the McMurdo has a way better fit - it's more relaxed, which makes it feel easier to move around in, and I love that the sleeves are Velcro adjustable unlike the outerboroughs - it's very warm, yet still stays lightweight, and I love the removable faux fur hood it comes with. The zippers are high quality, I like pockets and their placement, and it will keep you warm in very cold weather. 10/10 recommend
