Keeps warm in this cold weather

Bought this for my trip to Alaska. Good thing I did. They experienced the coldest temps they had seen in years. Negative teens every morning and 1 degree in the afternoons. The parka is great, very comfortable, fits as the size says. sleeve length is perfect. Pockets are large enough to carry your gloves and close so you don't lose them. Hood is a little big so can interfere with seeing well but it's insulated and warm too. Overall great jacket

Just looks and feels so sick! The almond butter color is just so beautiful. You really don't need any under-garments to improve the function. Only issue is sizing. Had a lot of trouble with this and had to return a large originally. I am 6'1" 180 32" waist 42" chest and hips. Even the medium isn't a perfect fit, but don't want to deal with returning again. The sleeve length is way too long whatever size u get but fortunately u can adjust it with velcrow. Best bet is to find a local store that sells and try on.

Yes there are a few things I would change..all of which were part of this parka in past versions. But bottom line, this is a well built garment that will keep you warm in extremely cold weather. This is not a technical parka, it's probably best suited for the average person doing everyday things in very cold weather. If you're going to be sweating i.e. mountaineering or skiing there are much better more ventilated options out there. As for sizing..I'm 5'9" 165lbs I have a 44 inch chest and a 32 inch waist and a large fits me fine with room to layer. It's considered "relaxed fit" so all the sizes have a little extra room.

The color was a lil more on the yellow side then Tan as what i thought, very comfy but also on the thick side if things. But I will say it will keep you warm on those cold winter nights!

I went to the New England Patriots last game this year. It was in the middle of a snowstorm, the jacket kept me warm and dry. I don't think most people will be out in conditions like that for that amount of time and like I said the jacket did its job. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Its super warm, super cozy, super fashionable and so light weight. At 6'2" 190lbs the Xl fits perfectly!
