I don't like the new slim fit at all. I returned it. Bring back the original Metropolis!

I loved this jacket up until I washed it. I followed the EXACT instructions the company provided on the tag. Yet the down feathers clumped together and the jacket smells mild-dewy. The jacket is ruined

I only wore this coat 3 times and the feathers are coming out and the hood keep popping off Waste of money

Even though I ordered an extra large I found it to be too small to put a sweater on underneath. It is beautiful but cut too small. I returned it.

I prefer the old style better. This style cinches in around the waist then puffs out just above the hips. It accentuates curves. It made me look bigger than I am which isn't a look I was going for. I'm 5'3" and 140 lbs. Medium fits perfect. I'm returning it. I'll either keep my old one or find something else.

zipper broke after about 20 wears. only worn in and out of car no heavy use.

This is a gorgeous jacket, but material is thin and snagged on something it shouldn't have for the price. Ripped large hole in side and I had to throw away. Only had one season too! Prior to rip, hood was lost at some point because the snaps are small and don't secure the hood. My niece had the same jacket and had same problem! Would NOT recommend.

I ordered a medium expecting to fit bigger as I am normally a small! 5'0 and 120 pounds and this cost was so tight in the arms and I couldn't even zip it!!

The hood falls off for no reason at all. Coat itself is fine but if you need a coat with a hood do not buy this one because the hood will fall off and get lost and TNF will not replace it.

Really wanted the quality of NF because I love the warmth of your products but this coat was overly not flattering at all. I'm currently trying to sell mine. Bought it brand new last September and only wore it four times. I was embarrassed by the way it looked SO PUFFY on me!!!!!!!!

First of all, the hood is pretty much unusable because as soon as you put it on, the buttons snap off. I cannot express to you how terrible the buttons are. They are flimsy, cheap, and never stay on, so don't buy this jacket if you need a functional hood. In addition, the jacket itself is poor quality. There is not enough down in the jacket to fill it, and I can literally feel my arm through the jacket because there is no down in that area. Within a couple weeks of wear, all the down started to come out of the seams and in other random areas of the coat. It is a terrible design combined with terrible worksmanship, making this jacket not worth your money. If you want a jacket that's long lasting, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. You have been warned.

Hood does not stay on. Not worth the money. Would of returned if I had the time. Dissatisfied

Hood will not stay attached because the snaps are weak. We returned the coat.

This jacket would be great if the buttons on the hood would stop falling off

Was very underwhelmed, did not fit in any sort of flattering manner and was too big. I returned this coat about three weeks ago and still haven't gotten a refund. Hoping soon.

I was super excited when I got this as a gift- warm and fits well. However, the buttons on the hood consistently pop off. It is so frustrating and have almost lost the hood countless times. RETURN.

I give 1 star ONLY because the hood snaps are pure garbage. If i just touch the hood 1 snap guarenteed to pop open and like acain reaction the others join the party. You've been warned. However, the hood is roomy enough for my big head. It also gives a full look meaning the coat looks best with the hood attached, The sleeves are very long. Its a fact bc I have long arms, sleeves barely ever fit me. These sleeves reach my hand! Love it! Didn't like it at 1sr bc my coat doesnt match the photo. My hem is longer in the back and shortens toward the front ie...hi-low, a swing coat but not exactly. if you are large breasted and big butt this coat will fit. Im thin and dont have neither so I should've sized down. Ionly been wearing this coat maybe 3 days a week for about 6 weeks and I see 3 long white threads unraveling under the collar....my coat is black! Scared to cut them. So far I still like the coat even tho the hood is a major headache. How am I supposed to be fashionable if the hood is popped off on 1 or both sides and Im in these streets reattaching it every 10 mins?

Too big size is off

Recieved as gift, have to return. The most annoying thing is the HOOD, the snaps are so cheap and it keeps falling off with any movement. Not warm enough for snow and water resistant enough for rain.

Runs small. I returned the jacket with the prepaid label and after several weeks have not received a refund. Didn't realize I needed to take a photo of the label to be able to track it.

Not sure what went wrong but this coat is nothing like what I expected. The quality is horrible, and for the cost of the coat, not at all worth it. Unfortunately I will be returning to store.

I'm a big fan of Northface outerwear, which seems to last forever. I finally decided to buy a new parka and I thought the Metropolis would be the answer to my parka quest. Unfortunately, the styling didn't work for me, so I had to return it.
