Only modification I made to these was replacing the laces with LockLaces. Was amazed how comfortable these were for working on a warehouse floor for 12+hrs. Can wear year round depending on the quality/thickness of a medium weight sock and they still won't feel too loose or tight. Initially I did wish they came with a finger pull loop sewn on the back like other traditional side zip boots. They are actually so light I have even worn them when not at work as they are that comfortable. Just wish they also came in a grey and OD green variant too.

It’s very good not heavy

shoes are a bit big and rough on the heel, definitely need to break them in and get different insoles.

Very difficult to get into. Especially the left boot. Not sure why considering they are side zippers

I've been wearing the same pair for about 5 months with my warehouse job and I wear them everyday outside of there as well. They are a great boot. The only issue I had was that the heel padding and fabric in the back of the boot started falling apart after one month of use.

If it’s possible to have more padding/cushioning and alittle more arch support would be better

Overall very nice boots, they don't have arch support really but there is enough room to add an insert. Comfortable and not awkward with the composite toe. Overall very nice shoes.

Its a good work boot but the ankle loop is digging into my ankle causing soreness and brusing in the worst way. I have to wear the boot loosely to avoid blister and sorness

Composite toe calculations not done correctly. Loss of space molding over foot (toes) not factored into size adjustment .. feels tight.

Was not true to size

Zippers on both boots went bad within 3 months and the material of the soles didn't last 5 months.

zipper on the side broke quickly and then when I replaced it, the zipper teeth ripped out of the side of the shoe a week later when I was putting on the shoe. boot was comfortable until it fell apart

to tight on toes

The shoes didn't last long and started falling apart, feels cheaply made unlike other Bates Boots I purchased from somewhere else

The fit and comfort was good, but they are falling apart in about 9 months.

The side zipper does make the putting the boot on quick, but it is a struggle to twist my ankle and get my heel seated in the boot. The full length of the boot is very narrow from the heel through the toe like a kangaroo foot. The narrow composite/hard shell toe curves downward and digs into the joints of your toes causing bruising.

I can feel the steel toe metal on my toes so must return them. Very stylish boot

They fit fine, but they were uncomfortable. I thought I needed to brake them in for them to fit better. It's been 2 months of 6 days a week use and they only got worse. They became harder to put on despite the side zipper being available for easy slip on. They were $130 and now I have to buy a new pair.

Idk how a shoe website doesn't have decent options in the correct stated sizes. Standard 12 Walmart boots fit better than either of the pairs of wide 13s I've ordered from this site.

One shoe was a 9.5 and the other was a 10, however the tag said 10 on both shoes.

Felt bulky.
