I bought these for slippers, they are so cute on, that I want to wear them as shoes. The problem is that they have no support. Not in the arch and not in the whole foot bed. Keen should re-make these with a sturdy sole. I’d pay the extra if they could make them feel more like comfy sneakers/shoes. I am going to keep them and have put an orthotic in them which helps, but they are thin and flimsy in the sole. Someone older and with a former bout of plantar fasciitis a more solid feel under foot would be helpful. I like the wide toe box and the easy on and off style.

I think these are great. The 1/2 size makes them a better fit for me. Well made and comfortable. I like the toe bumpers-very protective.

These would be perfect if the area over the arch was looser and could therefore accommodate preferred insoles. Not sure why it was made so snug there, given that there is an adjustable band to tighten across arch if needed.

Loved them however the did not like the fit....when walking my heel slipped out of the shoe. Tried to order a half size smaller but not avaiable.

These are so cute - even cuter than in the pictures. Not sure if I am stylish enough to pull them off but am wearing them anyway! Can be worn inside as slippers or outside as town walkers. Comfortable. Insert can be changed out if need be. Cord is useful, not just decorative. Soles, though not having tread, offer good purchase when needed. The only change I'd make is the back of the shoe. In my mind, they should either be full backs or no backs (mule type) - this half back is not great - but not a deal-breaker.

Size 8-1/2: Shoes fit too tightly, and the low back of the shoe did not offer much support. So did not try the size 8 pair. Will return the shoes.

I wished I could have kept this shoe but it was too narrow for me. Please offer this in a Women's Wide.

i was hoping they provided support, especially w the pull string. keen sandals do offer support and adjustable but this pull string doesnt do much.. i put in arch support, they are also not cushioned at all. i got these on sale so they seemed acceptable but i wouldnt buy them again.

Honestly I only purchased this green pair because it was the only non-fuzzy option available and I absolutely loved the previous pair that I purchased in a different fabric. Not sure what made this pair less comfortable than the black plaid ones I bought first. I decided to keep them anyway since I have such a difficult time finding ANY shoes these days. I’ll get some wear out of them. Just wish I could get a better selection.

Too small and too narrow.

I liked the looks of the shoe, but the back kept sliding up and down when I walked.

The size was ok, but the heel of the shoe kept sliding up and down when I walked.

Style was not snug enough to stay on foot.

I liked the style but there was absolutely no cushioning. Felt like I was walking on the bare floor.

They’re reasonably comfortable, but as like many other Keen shoes, they smell after a while. Why can’t Keen make shoes that don’t make your feet stinky?!

Under product details on website , these were described as a leather outer. Ones I received have a description of "velour." They are comfortable but the heel is not narrow enough for me even with the cinch cords tightened. The cords are a nice feature as is the roomy toebox. Wish they had fit.

too big

Im a little disappointed in these. I have been buying the Howser slippers for many years. These are not what I expected. They are very loose even after tightening the toggle on them. I can't return them because it was a final sale on this item. I will stick with the model I am use to buying not this style.

I did order a half size larger than I normally would with keens as I thought I would likely wear this shoe with a light sock. The size would have been fine. Issue was, foot-bed not very supportive. I realize that there is a removable insole and I could have placed my orthotic in, but my reason for getting this type of shoe was to just slip my foot in and wear around the house. I have no issue with any of my other keen products. I wore a few minutes several different times in the house. I could tell I was going to have a flair of peroneal tendonitis. Otherwise, a good looking shoe. I was sad they did not work for me.

I love Keen sandals but these were not good support for my feet. Also they were too tight around the top of foot. I will try another brand.

I did not like the fit. It was too big around the top of my foot even after adjusting it.
