These boots look great. I have the Greta winter lace up boots and wear them all the time, so wanted these to be their match. They feel a little small but the next size up was way too big. Definitely not as comfortable as the lace boots or the Pyrenes. I kept them in hopes that the insulation will flatten a little bit and they will fit. But definitely not a home run like the Greta lace-ups and the Pryenes are.

The shoe felt narrow even with thin socks. The rim of the boot was also very stiff and rubbed against my shin in an uncomfortable way when I walked.

I have a similar Keen waterproof booty that has served well over the past decade and I hoped to get a new pair, but these were really uncomfortable and seem to run small. The main problem is the shaft is so rigid it hurt the front of my shin in just a few minutes of trying them on. I don't remember that my previous pair even needed any break in period but I can't image trying to break these in and would be super disappointed if they didn't become more pliable over time, so I need to return.

I just couldn’t get these boots to fit right. I use heavy socks in them and tried my size and a size larger, and the toe box seems narrower than my keens from several years ago. Keen were never really fashion boots, but people bought them because the toe box was wide and comfortable and they were great hiking boots. The shoes are narrower now, to bad.

I have loved Keen boots for 20 years. That being said it has been disappointing the past few years. I finally found these with a supportive sole which is what I love about them but the top part digs into your leg. Not just a little either. I bought the 8.5 (my normal size) and the 9 both to try and they both did this. The front of my lower shins were red and sore after trying. The 8.5 was perfect without socks. The 9 was roomy enough and felt good in the foot area but felt baggy around the ankle. I love the quality and color of these but they have a huge flaw that will rub your legs raw.

As so many have said, these are not like the old Keens - too narrow, and I even bought a half size up! - and not enough toe room. I was also wearing very thin socks. Disappointed. Love the look of these, too! I really wanted to like them and keep them but I'm sending them back.

They seem like really nice boots but I couldn't get these on my feet.

Too stiff. Hurt to wear. No give to Leather at ankle. Fit is odd no matter what size I tried.

I was SO disappointed in these boots! I loved the style but they rubbed raw spots on my shins while trying them in the house. I have slender ankles and legs and the shaft was VERY tight…went back?

I really wanted these boots to work but they are just to difficult to get on and off and the top rubs on my legs.

Love Keen boots because of the wide toe box and wonderful arch support but OMG, something went amiss with this particular design! The ankle shaft was so narrow I could only get my foot in by wrestling with it. Once on the regular Keen footbed comfort was there BUT the shaft was snug around the lower shin. Returned via Zappos generous return policy - can't beat that.

These and the lower height version are NOT waterproof! They are not even water resistant. A little bit of rain & any socks you happen to have on will be instant stained the color of your boots. Your feet will also get badly stained. I cannot figure out how Keen gets away with advertising these as waterproof.

Bought a 7.5 and the size was right. These shoes are fine for standing in...but the minute I try to walk, my foot slides forward inside the boot. Tried thicker socks, same result. :^(

edge of the boot opening curves inward painfully pressing on the leg. Many buyers complain of the same issue

the upper edge (rim) of the boot where it meets the ankle is curved inward and painfully cuts into the leg. The upper edge seam is badly designed - there is an unnecessary thickness to it. There is a reason these boots have such low reviews - people return them because the boot shaft is painfully pressing against the leg and can not be broken in.

Could not slip foot into boot. Too tight at ankle.
