I like how these sneakers feel when I'm running. They have like a springboard action on each step. They fit a little small compared to say the 840's which have a wide toe box. I would've gone a size up on these. Overall a great sneaker, super comfortable.

It is a little loose in my foot and the foam I think it bounce too much.
Not that good for running. Walking, OK.
In contrast, the FRESH FOAM ROAV lower price and a very good shoe, totally fitted. I just purchased it again for next year.

Haven't ran in these yet but the liner easily slides backwards in the shoe. Other than that, this shoe is light and reacts to applied force well.

I appreciate these shoes for their intended purpose, which is an everyday trainer shoe for getting about town. They have a very modern and stylish exterior that I think goes well with any outfit. As a comparison to my current Saucony running shoes, I do not think these would hold up very well for distance running. The reason for this is that the shoes are fairly flat and don't seem to perform well in the shock absorption department. One upside, however, is the thinner mesh top allows for breathability and comfort. I found myself using these shoes when I wanted to spend an evening out with friends or to run errands, but I'm afraid that do to the overall lack of conformation to my foot, I'm not sure if I would want to wear them for an extended period of time. In that regard, I believe comfort could be improved in subsequent iterations of the shoe. If I were shopping for a daily shoe for style and simplicity, I would select this shoe and recommend it to friends and family as well.

I go to a Senior Military College, and I run with theses every day. They are light, comfy and offer great support. They worked best for me on roads and tracks. I tried them on some trails and they felt great until they got wet and the sole came out. I put a new sole in and now they are good as new. Would highly reccommend

A very comfortable shoe with very proper cushioning. They fit great & look great. These shoes support my weight greatly and are great for the outdoors. Overall 8/10.

I've been wearing the FuelCell Propel V3 now for about 3 weeks, having worn the V2 version of this previously, and switched over from the 890 series after wearing it for many years. With the second to last version of the 890 series, the V7, I had had issues with the insoles slipping backward inside the shoe, and up into the heel. This seemed to be solved in the next V8 version, but then the shoe was discontinued. When I first switched to the FuelCell Propel after this, the first model I wore was the V2. I really liked it, and never had any issues. However, already just in the first 3 weeks of use with the V3 version of this shoe, I have had issues with my right shoe's insole slipping back into the heel again like the old 890's, no matter how tightly I lace my shoes. On a long run one week ago, the insole actually slipped halfway the length of the shoe backward, so it was sticking up out of the back heel against my Achilles, and then even turned sideways so that it was sticking up and out of the back left of the shoe, against my right inner ankle. I've never had this happen before in my last 21 years of running every single day with NB shoes. While all of this may sound like a huge reason not to buy these shoes, I've actually liked them. I haven't had the issue with the left shoe for some reason, and I just recently decided to just glue the insole in. Hopefully this solves the issue, but I would suggest to NB that they pay some better attention to the design and fit of their insoles going forward, being that I have had this slippage in several models now. I would still recommend the FuelCell Propel V3. Just be mindful of this issue, and possibly be prepared to glue in the insole.

I took these shoes with me on vacation when I did a road trip on the Pacific Coast Highway in California that included several stops for hiking. Pros -- The shoes were breathable and comfortable on my soles regardless of the surface, whether I was climbing up rocky trails or crossing logs. They also didn't get very dirty, despite walking on my fair share of dusty dirt trails. Cons -- While I had enough room in the front of my shoe, the shoe was tight on the sides of my feet and it was most noticeable when I sitting in the car or standing still. The shoes actually felt more comfortable when I didn't wear socks, but it was still a little more snug that I would've liked.

I still like the actual shoe for the price, but the insert they put in the shoe to cover the sole of the shoe is not secured to the shoe at all. Or if it is, it is done for cheaply. The inserts are completely loose in both of my shoes and slides back and starts riding up in the back of the shoe as I run. This is just a bad set-up for shoe.

I consider this a flimsy shoe with the worst stability I have ever experienced in a running shoe. The tongue of the shoe is so thin and cheap that the top of my foot gets sore when wearing them. I have owned many pairs of New Balance shoes but this pair will be my last. I bought have to force myself to wear them because I paid for them.

At first, I loved these shoes, they look good & prob the most comfortable pair of NB I've owned. However, after only 3 months, wearing them 3-4 days a week, they started to tear at the big toe where the shoe material meets the sole, very disappointing.

The shoe fit itself was great. Unfortunately, the inside back started tearing almost immediately. I purchased these less than 3 months ago, and they are already worn out. Nice shoe. Feel great. Look great. Don't last.

Fit was decent, though a little narrow in toe box (I had to keep checking to make sure I received the right size), but they ultimately seemed to stretch out. The SQUEEK, though! One shoe has become my "warning" shoe. Everyone looks to see where the noise is coming from, and they are almost new. What is the deal with NB quality?

I'm an avid runner. I went through the shoe selection guide and came up with these. My initial assessment was quite positive but after 1 run on a treadmill I could no longer wear them. My big toe on one foot only kept jamming up into the top of the shoe. I gave them to a friend who said the EXACT same thing happened to her. I wanted to love these shoes but after precisely two runs they have been relegated back to the box.

My son usually loves New Balance but these looked shabby and fell apart so quickly. After only a few weeks of wear, the shoe came apart from the sole.
