I'm 6' and 270lbs and haven't run for probably 10 years. When I started walking/jogging a few months ago, my sneakers were obviously not up to the task, so I started the hunt for a new pair of running shoes. I have a very wide, flat foot that wide at the mid foot and doesn't get much wider. 2E is usually good in the toes, but narrow in the mid foot. 4E is the opposite where it fits the mid foot but my toes are swimming.
I tried the new balance 880 v11/v12, 860, 840, More v3, and an assortment of Brooks, Saucony, and ASICS - I had issues with all of them, whether it was poor fit, foot pain, knee pain, etc. I'm also not accustomed to the max cushioning styles that have apparently taken over, and found them all uncomfortable and many unstable.
I bought the Fuel Cell Propel in a 12 2E, and it's like it was made for my foot. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one - lightweight, firmer than the NB Fresh Foam line, and springy. It has a more uniform width through the mid foot and toe box, so nothing felt too cramped or too wide. The guy at my local running store told me they stopped carrying the Fuel Cell line because they couldn't give them away. I'm glad I didn't cancel my order.
I went for a quick 10 minute walk/jog on the treadmill to test them like I have the other dozen pairs I've tried and they are amazing. No pain anywhere! I walk/jog 3-5 miles a day, so I can't speak to how they hold up for longer distance, training runs, or durability, but love that I've finally found something that I can move in pain-free.
I have the Rebel and Prism on the way as well, and I hope they don't make it difficult to pick between the three.
If you're wide and flat like me, definitely give these a try!

These have been the most comfortable pair of shoes for walking my neighborhood. It up and down no flat spots. Shoes fit great and are like walking on air. Only thing I would wish is a different color. Not a big deal as everyone loves them but I shy away from white.

These kicks are fresh! Modern style and light weight, fancy without flash. Feel wonderful if you like that structure without feeling bulk. Very breathable, although you'll feel that breeze in the winter months on cold days or if you take it on a bike ride but it's delicate but durable based on the quality and design looks even better in person. Love that soft silver outline 'N', gives that perfect touch to a black shoe. Can't speak to any of the other colours though, but the best black shoe that I might buy a second pair!

I bought this show for my exercise routine of walking and jogging. The show fits perfect since I used my old New Balance for sizing. After a few work outs I find the shoe is comfortable with good cushioning.

After a long search and reading reviews of NB shoes (am a longtime buyer of NB cross trainers) I decided on the Fuel Cell 3 for an upcoming two week trip with lots of walking. I have tried them at the gym, and they are light and comfy and seem relatively supportive. I also like the colorful accents. Although they are technically for running, I purchased these in mind for long distance walking, and the fact they weigh very little is a plus.

It is a little different from the first pair I bought, but I liked it enough to buy it in 4 colors. Super comfort. Styling is on point. Excellent value. Well made, Well done.

Had the shoes for a couple weeks and pretty happy with them. 12 wide and sized similarly to my trail shoes

By far the most comfortable pair of kicks I've ever owned! And great price. New Balance slaughters the competition, I will only by NB from this point on.

These shoes are really nice if you like wearing darker colors like black and grey. Very stylish too and I liked how they look wearing casual clothes like jeans. Walking is very comfortable, my feet feel nice, snug, and stable. Very breathable shoes too, you almost feel the breeze go right through it. Overall solid purchase

The shoes felt a little tight, width-wise, when I first put them on but by the second wearing they fitted comfortably. Wore them today for 2.5 miles of working and they were just fine.

The propel v3 is one of my favorite shoes in my rotation. So far I've put around 70 miles on my pair and they still feel brand new. The foam is fresh and is still responsive as the day they came out of the box. The only complaint I have is that they run a little bit large.

Near-perfect daily trainer for for neutral runners. Likes: price, performance, durability, colors, breathability and comfort. Dislikes: Runs a bit small, so some will need to size up 1/2. Some may dislike the high Achilles collar and the non-gusseted tongue, but I don't. The only suggestion I'd make is the addition of a little more fuelcell foam to the midsole, akin to what NB did with the rebel v2. All in all an exceptional shoe at an equally awesome price.

I've use New Balance a few times over the years and usually end up loving their shoes. I've worn these shoes to the gym for a couple of weeks now and so far they have been awesome. These shoes have great arch support and they are extremely comfortable. I've also gotten several complements from strangers at the gym. One of them may even end up buying a pair. It did take me a few days to break them in, which is normal, but I did noticed that they kind of bend inward. It was a little different for me, but I quickly adjusted and now the feel wonderful. I'd highly recommend these.
Pros:
Look great
Grip all types of ground well
Comfortable
Great support
Cons:
None!

This shoe is a good buy for the price. I need cushioning for my knees and foot, and these shoes provide it. The other pair of FuelCell shoes I have bought did provide good cushioning also and did last for a good amount of time. Some of the shoes I have bought wore out quickly in the heel of one my feet.

I wanted a moderately priced running shoe with good cushioning and support. This seems to be fitting the bill for me. It gives me the cushioning and support and feels comfortable on my feet. The size fits my feet well and runs true to size.. Not crazy that it only comes in black, but otherwise I am glad I bought the shoe. I run outside and need a strong shoe to last against the cement and street surfaces that I run on.

First ever all black shoe. I've gotten compliments. They do feel a little narrow, but not enough to return.

Overall a great shoe. Lightweight, comfortable, and fits well. I've gone on a couple of runs, had an all-day packing exercise to move my mom out of her house, and had a few walks in them as well. The only flag I'd raise is that the contours of the shoe rub against my ankles, which is uncomfortable, but getting better as I break them in. I hope this is just a me thing and not something others would experience. Overall a great shoe and I'd recommend it.
