I have never used New Balance and decided to give it a try. After owning Brooks for 4-5 years the New Balance was disappointing.

Purchased for summer hiking if raining. Just got back from first hike in rain. My socks, orthotics (which are not waterproof) and feet are soaked. Purchased a month ago. I will be going into store and see what can be done. Very comfy but not waterproof or water resistant. Too bad as I love New Balance shoes. Can not recommend

New Balance, life long fan, but immediately stopped buying when you enlarged the "N" on every single shoe. And now you are writing big words like "GORE TEX" on the shoe??! Really? Very unattractive looking styles and color combos for women as of a couple years now. Very disappointing. I have every desire to love every single shoe like I used to, but I have to be honest. You have done such an ubruot change to style, colors, choices, lettering. It's all "Yuck!" Do you guys even still make NB in the United States? Your shoes are getting super cheap and blah, just like the other "N" brand shoe. Quality is low, sizing is way way off, and NB is heading toward 2 thumbs down! I give up! I've gone from buying EVERY new seasonal piece of NB to buying zero. Super sad! You should have kept your OWN unique style instead of turning it to a "street" brand. Not a fan at all anymore. Unfortunately! :(
