Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam 860v12

I was hesitant to order these online, as I had read reviews that this model had been updated and wasn't working as well for some people. Mine were very comfortable upon the first wearing (I walk and run/walk) about 5 mi/day and felt almost identical to my previous pair of 860's. I love the cushioning and stability they provide and the wide works well for me because I need extra width in the toe box.

These are much like the v.10 (which I loved). They offer great support for my arch during my daily runs. Please do not change them.

This is my second pair and while the sale is on I decided to buy another. These shoes are very comfortable and at least for me no break in time!

Run small Purchased one size larger than I normally wear

I wear these sneakers often and I love them. They are very comfortable. I would recommend these for every day comfort.

Flat footed with pronation. This shoe gives me the best support and comfort of anything I have found and at a reasonable price.

I bought these shoes for Pickleball . Court shoes tear up my feet, and make my bunions flare up. These Shoes give me the stability I need for the court, and are easier on the feet.

I was so pleased to discover New Balance as a new option for a running shoe for me. I was previously loyal to another brand for many years, however, over the past year or so, either my foot changed size and/or shape, and/or they changed the structure and design of their shoes to where I can no longer find a size that works for me. Much to my surprise, a shoe salesman in an orthopedic shoe store recommended New Balance (it's the only brand they sell), and he specifically recommended the X860v12 to correct for my overpronation. I was thrilled that this shoe fit me so well and felt great from the get-go without any orthotic inserts, as my previous custom orthotics needed to be replaced, and my health insurance no longer covers them. I have bought 3 pair and would probably buy a 4th if more preferred color combos were still available in my size. My only complaint about this shoe is the shoelaces, which repeatedly came undone during my work-outs. It was really annoying to have to keep stopping and re-tying them. I ended up having to switch out the laces for laces from my previous running shoes by a different manufacturer. Not an ideal situation, since I'm very much into color coordination, and the replacement laces don't match. I'm hoping that New Balance will take my review into consideration, and make future versions of this fantastic shoe with better laces that stay in place. Other than that, I'm a totally happy camper, and plan on sticking with this brand.

I have foot issues and need lots of squishy padding and these shoes have it. I love the 860's. They're awesome and I would recommend them to anyone.

I went for a "foot analysis" and was recommended the fresh foam. These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn and I just got my second pair. I am usually an 8.5, but I got a size 9.

But I wear a 10.5 2E woman's and you seldom every seldom have my size. I hate that they cannot be washed!!!!! I hate that you just encourage us your users to get over it and toss them. I hate that you describe cleaning them only with a damp cloth. We wear them daily everywhere.

Perfectly comfortable right out of the box, these shoes are also remarkably stable. Just the right combination of softness and support. My new favorite shoes.

I can't recommend these enough. I exclusively wear the NB 860. Doesn't get better for those running on various terrain, especially pavement runners. Great for those with wide feet but the toe part is narrow.

I have feet issues but love yo walk. These are the most comfortable sneakers I've had in a long time. The only issue was that I had to buy a half size larger than usual.

I love my new shoes, I workout with HIIT exercises, weights, etc., plus walking and they are so comfortable it feels like I am walking in slippers

This is the only shoe that works for my feet. I have a D width and narrow heel. These work. New Balance got these too me quickly .

I use the stability running shoe for cross-training at the gym. This is the best shoe I have found since I have a tendency to pronate my feet.
