Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam 860v12

First off, I'm a huge fan of new balance and fresh form soles! Very comfortable! So these 860v12 are a little different than what I'm used to as far as a new balance/ fresh foam shoe. For reference, I also own a pair of beacons and trails. So these are a little tougher, less squishy (which I love for comfort) but then also I expect them to last much longer and be more durable than the "typical" fresh foam sole. Id compare these more to "regular tennis shoe" instead of the other pairs of squishy ultra comfy fresh foam shoes I own. I prefer the squishy ones, but these absolutely still have a place in my wardrobe. These are still a great shoe and comfortable!!!!! but a very different feel then my other new balance shoes. I ordered these in navy, with the blue, pink, orange, and white accents. I think they are prettier in person. Toned down enough to wear with everyday casual clothes, but the accents really add to them and make them more of a flashier better looking shoe.

Thanks New Balance for some teal shoes! add that color more often ;) but I would have liked them to be a little flashier with accent colors, etc. These are still beautiful shoes, but just a little boring for my personal taste. Also for my wide feeted friends, True to width. But they were out of wides, so I tried the extra wides (which I dont think I had ever tried before). Wow that adds a lot of room. too much for me, i probably could have done a half size smaller with the extra wides, hopefully that helps with sizing, ENJOY!

These are awesome shoes! Nice wide toe bed, so no rubbing. They do and excellent job at stopping the roll inwards (pronation) when I take a step. And finally, the biggest problem for me is usually the heal. On so many shoes, the ridge at the heel of the shoes tilts inward and just rubs the achilles tendon raw but not on these shoes! To recap, perfect heel area, perfect toe bed, and great stabilization! I did go up a half size as recommended and it's a perfect fit.

I love these shoes. I’ve been buying the fresh foam line for years and some are better than others. These are fabulous. They felt great from the first run, providing plenty of support and cushioning. I love the squared toe. It looks great and gives my toes lots of room.

The 860s are wonderful. This particular color seems to fit the best for me. Wide toe box, roomy for a thicker sock. Lots of padding. Using a commercial ready made orthotic to provide better arch support for flat feet. Buying another pair after the review is finished. Very happy.

I love them it's actually my 3rd pair of New Balance first time buying them through zappos. They are the best for me.
