I have purchased other 4E New Balance shoes in the past that fit perfect, however these are not as wide as previous models.

My order was "Model New Foam 880G12, size 11-4E, Extra wide". Currently I have Model 990 and 880, both in 11-4E size, Extra Wide. The new 880s, for some reason, are more SNUG on my feet, i.e. when manufactured they are (slightly) smaller all-around. Length is not quite the same, and width is not the same as my other models... Less room in shoes! ...I have to loosen the laces to widen the top part of shoes, and end up with laces that are very short and difficult to tie. My other shoes' sizing are all fine for my feet. Don't know why this pair is different. I feel I must return them.

I have a wide mid foot and was blistering with all other shoes I tried (Brooks Adrenaline GTS, ASICS Kayano) so I gave these a go based on the good reviews I found online. I got the 2E to account for the wide mid foot. Really happy with the shoe. No more blistering and helps with the overpronation. Comfy and supportive and doesn't feel super clunky like most support shoes.

I got mine in September and after a couple of months they split in the back.

This is my 5th pair of this version and they are still great. Completely wore out the first two pairs and have pitched them. Others are still backups. Light weight and cool to wear in the Texas heat.

Love the out of the box fit. Like the style and most of all how light the shoes are.

So nice a fit, great technical structure , with wonderful comfort , less stress on the legs

I run about 10 miles a week. I like them. More character needed

Smells new and fits grrrreat! I wear them on my feet so I can run.

I stand all night at work . This shoe is not great for that. The shoe has a hard soul. Inside foot soul is very thin.

Training and road races, one-off the most comfortable shoes I've worn.

No complaints yet and I'm on my feet all day. Super comfortable and stylish.

Shoe is super comfy. It does fit a touch too big, but nothing substantial.

This style fits and allows me to walk without foot pain due to arthritis in my foot. I now have four pairs. I did like the older version Fresh Foam with the soft back that is higher on the tendon in the back. But all in all the shoe is great.

For work at the golf course. They are more cushioned.

My last two pair of sneakers for the last couple of years have been New Balance 940's, both size 10.5 Wide (2E). New Balance does not carry the 940 line anymore, so I had to find a different model in my size (they have a 990 model but it is really ugly). I had ordered a pair of 1080 v11's in the same size and had to return them because they were too tight. The 860 v12's (same size) are even tighter. I had to loosen the shoestrings so much to get my foot in, that there were not enough shoestrings to even tie the sneakers. I will be returning these as well. I wish there was more consistency with the sizing of these shoes as it is a pain to have to order and return on a trial by error basis. The closest New Balance store from me was an hour away but was recently closed and I don't have many other options but to purchase online.

Im 72 years old, an over pronator who uses orthotics. I run 30 minutes 5 to six times a week. I find these shoes, especially in 4E width, the most comfortable, stable shoe for me. Thank you for a great product!

In this version New Balance fixed the issue with the counter. Thank you! The fit on this version seemed to be better as well. I understand the anatomy and physiology of everyone's foot is different. However this fits my hard to fit foot better.

These are my runners. Fit perfectly and are very comfortable.

I got fitted at a running store for my foot dynamics. This shoe was the most comfortable and corrective shoe I tried on and purchased 2 pairs. The v1 and v2, for the gym and to wear around in the office.
