My former New Balance shoes were the only footwear I found that did not inflame my Morton's Neuroma and Neuropathy problems. I was very concerned that New Balance would cease to provide that model. I opened a support ticket and asked what the equivalent shoe model would be. After a few days, I received a very courteous response with the information I needed. I ordered a pair of the new-model shoes, and they are heavenly. Thank you, New Balance. For whatever time remains for me, I am encouraged to have this problem solved. I'm more confident now that I will find the next model I need from you when this model is retired. Your product spares me from painful debilitation.

I use these for running. I like the wide toe box and the overall comfort.

This is my sixth pair and a reorder of the original white sneaker. This one came with blue accents that I love. I have serious foot issues and New Balance with orthotic inserts are the only ones that I can wear all day. Will never buy another brand

True to size , good support and comfort . Having a wide foot it's difficult to find perfect fit.

I use them for walking, light hiking and casual wear.

I have wide feet and played football through college. These are the best cushion, width and neutral sneaker. No shin, feet or knee pain.

Ordered the running version of the shoes and turned out to be the better choice for daily 1 - 4 mile walks. Great on hard surfaces and grass. Usually have up to four Jack Russell terroir mix dogs along and easy to keep up with them. Also use custom orthotic inserts easy to insert after the removable cushion insoles are removed. Super comfortable shoe that I wear all day on weekends. Highly recommend this product. I measure a 12D but order a 13 to leave room for a running sock and hot weather.

I walk favoring one side of my foot, because of having screws in my ankle. I have tried multiple shows. NB are the only ones that work for me properly. I feet do not hurt while wearing yours.

I am always nervous when it comes to purchasing footwear online. However, this shoe feels good and fits well. I especially like the shape (less boxy), which is always an issue when you purchase a wide size.

Most comfortable running shoes I ever owned. Don't feel like taking them off at end of the day.

This shoe is so comfy and in 4E Width. My issue is they cant seem to keep 15 4E in stock. so frustrating

I have worn the 840v4s for years and loved them. The version 5s have all the comfort and support of the old version but in updated colors and styling.

The shoe fits great I like the wide size, pretty comfortable for standing all day although a little more padding on the insole would be nice.

These are my first ever pair of real running shoes. I bought them after running for a few weeks and they have changed how much I enjoy the hobby. I never feel foot pain or soreness like I used to with older sneakers and these shoes felt comfortable and snug on my feet straight out of the box. I've been using them for a month now and I'm so glad I bought these instead of a cheaper pair. They have held up beautifully and helped me run faster and farther each day with absolutely no instability or discomfort. Highly recommend!

Fit as expected, just as comfortable as the 840v4 Still wish all new balance would secure the tongue though

I have needed a wider shoe for ages. these are the best shoe I had for a long time.

I love my 840 V4's and was so excited to see the new V5. I have worn them a bit and they do not disappoint. Hard to find in my local store but was thrilled to find them n NewBalance.com.

Good fit and true to size. A bit disappointed where the mesh meets the toe. There is excess glue. But so far so good.
