Fantastic but not fully waterproof. We liked the other model better. Will buy quicker next year.

I will start by saying the appearance of these boots is on point and the workmanship is beautiful. They are wonderfully made and the color selections are great. Weve been on the hunt for good winter boots since my daughter was 2. She is now 6, and I thought for sure when I purchased these boots that they would be it. We live in Wisconsin so winters are quite harsh, and the kids play outside daily unless it is below zero. We played outside today in these for the first time for 30 minutes at 25 degree temps. When we came inside my daughters toes were quite cold, and the footbed and toe on the inside of the boots was very cold to the touch. Maybe my daughter just has poor circulation, but alas we are still on the hunt for a winter boot that performs in cold temperatures.

My grandsons is normally size 6, these boots in size 6 were perfect and allow some room for growth. The quality is great, although he hasnt worn out yet to test warmth. He does find them very comfortable and easy to put on.

Super cute. The only downfall is my son won't wear them because he says they hurt his feet.

Get what you pay for. Sharp, stylish, quality boot.

Pink and blue are really cute! They are easy for my child to put on their self. Cute enough to wear to school with leggings or out in the woods hiking.

I really like this boot for my twins bc they are easy on and off, they are tall and dont let snow or hiking debris in, totally waterproof so far!, the soles are super grippy and rugged (we just got done vacationing in So. UT and I could trust the boots on those rock scrambling hikes) and the boys want to wear em all the time so they must be comfty! The only draw back is that the draw string is too long...they sometime would step on it while hiking upwards causing a stumbled so we have to be mindful to keep it tucked in. Kinda annoying but not a deal breaker.

My son love its, fits perfect.

My son has a slight build and drags his feet in heavier boots. This boot is light and athletic while still being warm and waterproof. He is very happy with this product!

These boots are super warm, very well built and stylish!. The one issue i have is that they are very difficult to put on and take off. Definitely re-think then for younger children trying to be independent for recesses and such at school.

These are great boots - lightweight, felt warm, good tread, and weren't super bulky. We unfortunately had to return them though as our 6 year old couldnt get them on and off by himself. The top of the boots were stiff, and he couldn't pull it wide enough to slip his feet in and out. If it hadnt been for that we would have kept them for sure!

The website size guide was not helpful and boots arrived too large, even though we followed exact measurements. Very stylish and well-made boots so we decided to keep them for next year when they (hopefully) fit. Some concerns that the boots are too stiff and won't be comfortable for on-going use. We will see.

I wanted to love these so bad! They're so cute, well made, and waterproof! However, they were much narrower and stiffer than expected. My daughter who loves to wear shoes cried everything I put these on her.

The boot themselves are excellent quality, Warm and comfortable. But that doesn't matter when you can get them on :( my daughters school sent them back home and asked me to not send them in again. I had to buy new laces in order to get them on her. The style that has the Velcro at the top instead of the lacing all the way up was way easier. So the boots are 5 stars. The inability to put them on makes them 3 stars.

Aggressive tread, and good looks. Adequate padding in the shaft, but sadly lacking insulation in the part that covers the foot.

They look nice and work as an everyday winter boots. After snow play my son's feet were SO soaked that I couldn't get his boot off. We have resorted to putting his foot in a plastic bag before putting these on. Def shouldn't be doing that for the cost.

I bought these on vacation in CO. They are adorable and very warm. However, one of the lace loops broke after 3 days of wear. I will sew it back myself and try to reinforce the other loops.

I bought 4 pairs of these for my 4 young daughters for Christmas. They have worn them intermittently since then and we love the look, comfort, and ease of getting on and off. I was actually about to buy their next size up to have for next winter. I had originally purchased the 2.0 version for less at an outlet but saw some reviews on here about them not being waterproof as claimed so I returned the 2.0s and spent more $ to purchase the 3.0s thinking the kinks would be worked out in the newer version. I am a decades long loyal Merrell customer. Imagine my disappointment when they tested the waterproof-ness of the boots for the first time yesterday in water barely past the tops of the rubber sole perimeter and all 4 boots became immediately soaked with icy water throughout the bottom interior. So upsetting to spend so much on a product thinking it is the top of the line only for it to fail at the basic function you purchased it for.

I usually love Merrell products, but this one was a disappointment. Within 6 weeks we had to return these boots and get new ones so my kid would have warm and dry feet. We took the insoles out to dry them and most of the bottom of the inside of the boot came crumbling out. Luckily we bought them from a place with a great return policy because there's no way we would have gotten through the winter with these.

I bought theses boots 3 weeks ago and I have to return them because they aren't water proof. Feet got damp and feet gets cold. It wasn't' Cold outside. I'm really disappointed.

Fits way too wide and the straps didn't thight the ankle enough, seemed like my son had adult-size boots on. Also, he always had wet feet at the end of the day. I won't buy these next winter!

The construction materials make this a very still boot for children. Even after wear no give.

I rate it -1, if that would be possible. Not sure what had happened with the quality control. But these boots are NOT WATERPROOF at all.
