Ive been using altra sneakers for years the wide toe box is the beat so your toes dont get squished while ealking running or on the elliptical. I love how its snug around the mid foot and ankle and loose on the toes. They get dirty and machine wash well on hot woth hydrogen peroxide and baking soda like brand new! Yes its true aftet a year they get worn hut if ur a true athlete you wilp vhange your sneakers every 6-12 months. Best shoe, give it a try i have so many friends and fam hooked

Perfect low profile gym shoe with minimal cushioning but adequate support. Great for weight training. As a personal trainer I spend hours on my feet every day. Please make these in more fun colors

Very stable shoe for cross-fit workouts. Super comfortable! My only compliant is that the laces are very short and come untied while wearing them.

I purchased to wear in the gym but so comfortable I want to wear them everywhere. I was unsure at first with the low to know heal height but I truly love them.

My son is in the men's shoe dead zone. His feet are too big for kids shoes and too small for mens shoes. He loves them. Two weeks into school and they are holding up well. I sized up a half size as recommended and they fit perfectly. Thank you for offering them in black/white color.

Bought the Women's Solstice XT2 in a size 8 - chose the white - very nice looking sneaker! They feel AMAZING right out of the box! I particularly like how they hug and support the heel bed all around. Couple that with the extra toe room, and a great foot bed cushion, and it's a great fitting sneaker. I don't think I'll use them in high-impact training, but I'll definitely use them for weight-lifting and Les Mills Body-Pump classes. They don't have the kind of thick construction you'll find in a high-impact running/training sneaker. The top of the foot is covered with a looser fitting mesh, but I wouldn't have them any other way. They are so incredibly comfortable. I have had them on walking around the house, and I don't want to take them off!

For house cleaning. Wear all day and feel great.

I bought three pairs because these feel great. Like walking in a cloud with support. I have literally bought 20 pairs of shoes since my back surgery. These have changed my life. I couldn't walk before for more that 15 minutes, now with the Solstice 2 I can shop and wear them all day. I love the toe room. PLEASE Altra, don't ever change these perfect shoes. Famous podiatrist Dr. Ray McClanahan recommends these and that's how I discovered them. They are fantastic! Healed all my foot pain. ( bought in different site as my size is sold out)

I wear these for pickleball and find them to be a great court shoe.

Great for everything other than running. I use it in my day to day errands, walks, bike rides, gym work, and on the elliptical. It's extremely comfortable and light- I love it's minimal design.

I love these shoes! Most probably buy them for running, I use them for walking and dancing on hard surfaces, indoors and outside and they are great! I wish you made an all black version.

For years I've enjoyed their running shoes, and I've been wanting a cross trainer from Altra. Ordered this one and it's great for HIIT and agility. Loving this shoe!

I was actually looking for a good trainer, but I'm wearing these for everything - lifting, HIIT, running. These shoes are comfortable, just the right amount of support, and my feet and legs feel great.

I purchased the solstice to replace an eight year old pair of Reebok CrossFit shoes. They are exactly what I hoped for. Comfortable, durable, great for lifting or cross training.

I really love these shoes; I now have 6 pairs and am in one of them every day. But, the last pair I ordered has cheap and short shoe laces- very disappointing and irritating. I can barely tie them.
