Great thermal tight bottoms, very comfortable. It has the convenience of a back pocket to place the phone or any other item. Its also true to size.

Like other reviews the waist was big. They are meant for cold runs so I tucked my base layer into pants and didn?t roll down. Would buy more.

Of the different pairs of running tights at home, these are my favorite, but there are a few things I would change. First of all, I bought them because I dislike the feeling of tights slipping down, and the Brooks drawstring is the best one I found. It stretches out so well with plenty of tieability and is easy to untie. Other reviews complained about the waist band, it to me, doesn?t seem too big, but it?s also quite short and I would and redesign it to be higher. I feel like I have to really haul the pants up to get a good fit. As in the description, they do feel like they were made for compression, more snug than yoga leggings. The bottom cuff is very long, like a sweatshirt sleeve cuff, which feels odd on my ankle but it works to fold the cuff up. Also, the side pockets are much appreciated, but very narrow, I can?t fit my phone in them. Overall, I would buy these again (on sale) because the drawstring keeps them from slipping down, but hopefully with some redesigns.

These are fantastic! Perfect for cold weather! I bought 4 pairs! However, these are not sized for petite people. I'm 5', and while the overall quality is excellent, they do bunch at the ankles and knees for me.

These tights were definitely worth the sale price. They are warm but not too thick or stiff. 4 stars because I'm curvy (5'6" 175lb with wide hips and smaller waist) and the mid-rise fit means that they tend to slide down when I run. The drawstring mostly solves the issue, but they would be warmer and more comfortable for my body type if they were higher waisted. I also agree with previous reviews that the leg pockets could be a little bigger. My iPhone X does fit in the side pockets, but just barely.

These are great thermal tights! I was worried as some reviewers had said they weren?t warm, but that hasn?t been my experience at all. I?ve used them multiple times and felt nice and cozy but not constricted. The only issue I?ve had is a slight chafing with the seam that runs along the underside of the tight. It?s nothing a little body glide won?t fix, though.

I got these for my mom who joined a winter running group. She loves the warmth, comfort, and style but is frustrated with how tight the tights are around the ankles (thus her 4-star rating). It takes her some extra effort to get them on and off but isn't enough of a dealbreaker to return.

Love the drawstring waist for extra support on runs, but they stay up well anyway. Would recommend & purchase again.

Solid tights! Warm and waterproof. I'm only giving a four because the sizing seems so off to me. I'm 5'8" and weight 120 pounds, and the small felt so so tight that I could barely move and putting them on was an entire workout itself. I ended up with a medium which fits much better in the legs but is a tiny bit loose in the waist. Based on Brooks sizing, I should be a comfortable small so idk what is going on with these tights. Are they suppose to be so tight as to bring you to the brink of death?

TLDR, Order a size down if you're between sizes!
I wanted to love these, but had two main problems. First, the waist was too big. Unlike most running tights, the waistband has little to no elasticity, so when it's too big, it really sags off or falls down. I was pulling my pants up every 100m, and it was worse with a phone in the pocket. I'm 5'8'' and 140lbs, and always buy size L leggings for length. Maybe I'd be fine with a size Med, but the rest of the pants were pretty tight, so I'm not sure it would help. Second, I didn't find these to be much warmer than a regular, low-cost yoga pant. I was running in 20 degrees (no wind) and my legs were numb by Mile 4...with other cold weather-specific tights, I can usually make it to zero without any problems.

These tights are perfect for cold weather runs - I usually wear them when its 30F or below. Theyre cozy when you put them on and can breathe a bit when you warm up. I love the back pocket for my phone and the side pockets are perfect for stashing gloves or a hat. Overall, excellent weight and material.

These tights are soft and warm, but a little too short for tall people. I tried getting a size larger to compensate for the length, but then they just kept slipping down when running. Went with a competing brand that was more generous in length from ankle to waist.

It is functional and has kept me warm in 30's temperatures. Still to try in 20's, but it seems less warm than my New Balance tights. The main reason I did not think it deserves 5 stars is that the ankle cuffs are too tight (and I have small ankles). It is uncomfortable and especially difficult to take the tights off.

These arrived just in time for a drop in temperature, and they've been really nice on their own as well as underneath ripstop joggers when I've needed a bit more warmth. I was worried when I felt the the wetsuit-like fit below the calf, but the rest of the leg is close to the body but not as snug.

These are great winter running tights--they are warm with a snug, slightly compressive fit that I like when running. The band at the ankle keeps cold weather out. I have them in both the black and rum raisin colors. I gave it four stars rather than five, as a zippered pocket across the back would be nice, rather than the one it has.
