I LOVE these pants. They are thick and warm with a slightly relaxed fit. I can wear them alone or they fit comfortably over my tights on really cold days. I'm 5'4" and 126 pounds. I ordered the medium and they are a perfect fit!

Oh, my! These are my new favorite cold-weather pants! They fit me perfectly - the waistband and ankles are quite snug but not too tight - perfect to keep the pants in place AND keep out snow at my feet. I'm short (5'3") and average-size, I suppose - usually S or M leggings fit perfectly, albeit long. These pants are shockingly the exact right length for me. I'd consider getting a pair for my sister (5'9") but I actually worry that they'd be way too short on her - if you're tall, size up! Might be buying another pair to run throughout the upcoming Boston winter :)

These pants were warm and comfortable. I especially like how they weren?t tight, so I felt like I had some wiggle room especially around my knees.

Amazing pants. They fit comfortably- not too tight, but not baggy either and they stay in place on long runs. I?ve never found cool/cold weather running bottoms that work so well. I?m going to get several more sets in the next sale. I highly recommend them!

Honestly the most flattering pants on me! I have a thinner waist but wide hips and thighs so it can be hard to find pants that work, but these fit like a DREAM. The waist stays in place but isn't too tight and the ankle holes are fine for me too even though others have noted they can be tight. They're nice and warm and I can't wait to wear these all through this winter.

Holy smokes do I love these pants. I will admit I have not run in them yet, I just got them yesterday and have been getting over the flu, but I have not taken them off yet! They are so soft, cozy and strangely warm. How is this accomplished? I wore them to drop my daughter off at 6am for a school trip in a car I did not warm up. It was 32 degrees and dark. I was not miserable though because these are magic. Like some other reviewers have said, the waist band is rather stiff. It stretches, but it doesn't give much. I'm ok with it, it stays put! (on cold fake leather upholstery, my backside was not exposed). I feel like I'm not wearing pants! I like the slightly loose fit, and I feel attractive in them! I do not have a dumpy butt in them somehow. Please Brooks, make them in more colors! I'll probably be investing in a second pair! They might run a tad small, but maybe not. I gained 20lbs over COVID and I'm not too sure what size I "should" be (is any woman??). I'm 5'8", 165lbs and I got a L. There is a snugness, but it feels appropriate.

I purchased these pants because they were marketed to be warm for chilly days outdoors. They do keep me warm in the cold thus far, so as the temps dip even further, I'm expecting them to be great for exercise even if I have to wear long johns under them. I purchased a medium, but I'm definitely a small; I do not regret getting the larger size. I don't wear tight fitting pants/leggings and these gave me the fit I desired. I recommend them: they are warm, fit great, and comfortably, with pockets.

These pants are great. Living in California we do not experience a huge change across seasons, but during the early morning runs when temperatures are cold these pants have kept me warm and moving. They fit me about mid-rise and the thicker waist band makes them comfortable and prevents them from digging in anywhere while I run. The pockets are also a decent size and allow me to zip my phone up easily without worry. I definitely recommend these pants to anyone who is looking for a new pair to add to their runwear rotation.

These kept me very warm and as a bonus, the pants are super cute, a friend saw me wearing them and ordered them for herself. While the pants are waterproof and great for running in the rain or snow, the cuff is still very soft which makes them still appealing to put on when it's cold. I don't like the pulls on the zippers, they're those tiny metal ones which are tricky when I'm wearing gloves. I also somehow managed to tie a very tight knot in the drawstring which I haven't been able to untie. I think that they run a bit large, so I'd size down unless you're tall. I'm 5'9" and while the mediums are a little big for me, I think that the small would have been shorter than I'd enjoy.

I love these pants! These are the second pair I have purchased. They are soft and warm for cooler temp runs. I live in Middle TN and the winter are cold but not super cold compared the other locations. I also use them for athleisure pants when I am traveling with my sons volleyball team. Super comfortable!

These thermal pants are perfect for the colder fall/winter/spring days! I?ve been really impressed with how my legs stay warm while being very fashionable. These are jogger style pants, but not baggy in the legs like some joggers which is nice. They are almost a jogger/legging pant. They are so soft inside. The pockets are zippered and hold at least keys while being zipped. My cell phone can fit if the zipper isn?t zipped. These pants are stylish enough to complete a work out then go run a few errands if you need to and still look stylish. Overall, I?m very pleased with these thermal pants.

I am in love with these running pants! Don?t let the thin appearance fool you-they are quite warm. I?ve been wearing these on cool fall morning runs in the 40s and stayed warm. I?ve also worn leggings underneath a few times on colder days and there?s plenty of room to wear both comfortably. The soft lining throughout feels so nice when working out and prevents any chafing when running. I prefer not to wear skin tight pants when working out and these are perfect, not too tight or loose. The banded waist keeps them up when running and the banded ankles keep wind from sneaking in. They fit true to size and are super cute and flattering. I am 5?7? and the pants are a good length on me, however, if you are on the taller side I could see them being too short. I love the zipper pockets and the fact that they are on both sides. I drop my phone and key in each and am good to go. These have also become my go to playground pants since I can easily hold all my belongings. These pants wash up like new and I can tell they will last a long time. The only requests I would make is to add reflectors (for night runs) and also maybe a waterproof version for if it?s misty out or just rained.

Love these pants! I?ve only worn them once because the weather has not quite gotten cold enough to need them. But once winter comes I?ll be wearing them all the time! They definitely keep my legs warm and will be be great on both short and long runs.

Fab cold weather outdoor running/walking pants.

I was a little skeptical when I first bought these pants because I?ve never had a pair of that weren?t compression pants and my goodness, I am so happy I bought these. They are really warm and comfortable- perfect for running in the low teens without needing extra layers and roomy enough for the days where an extra layer is needed.

Excellent, I wear them to work with a work shirt then take a long night walk in them. The fit is a bit slim.

Nice pant. It's more like a tight with 'some room', not skin tight. I was hesitant to get this pant because I didn't want baggy or drag while running, but it fits pretty close to my body and layers well with tights for more warmth. Unlike other Brooks clothing, this fits true to size. I generally wear a small in bottoms, and the small fits.

These pants are the best! Finally an answer to cold weather running. They are great alone. I?ve also added a thermal layer underneath on single-digit days and been very comfortable. The inseam must be around 28?, because they are perfect for my shorter legs. I have three pairs and wear them for every winter run. If my dreams came true, they would also add wind proof and waterproof to this design, more colors, and reflective markings. Don?t mess with the cut of these pants. They are perfect!

Buying a second pair! I've worn these on several cold runs so far and absolutely love them. They don't slide down and provide a nice amount of warmth even on snowy trails!

Had them for 2 weeks and so far so good. My first run in them was in 18 degree weather and my legs kept warm with these pants over my usual running tights. Great for layering!

My new favorite winter running pants.

These are relaxed fitting warm tights. I like that I can wear them over running tights or not. I?m a solid 112 lbs - 5?3? and purchased a small. They are functional and flattering. I do not carry my phone in them

I love Brooks apparel. It is all I wear when I work out (Chaser 5 and Distance tank, Dash 1/2 zip pullover). I was excited about these from all the good reviews and ordered my usual M. I really dislike the fit. The waist is too tight. (I am 5'5 137 lbs) The lower legs are tight and the seams are thick and uncomfortable. I wanted to really love these but cannot wear them.
