First off, let me ask Brooks, what is the deal lately with your doing away with the ankle zippers on tights? Makes it kind of a pain in the butt putting my foot through the skinny opening. This thermal tight might be ideal for extremely cold conditions, but I've run just fine in temps down into the teens with a tight far less heavyweight than this. The heavyweight material of this tight seems to be somewhat problematic in that it's not very stretchy. I found the fit to be overly constrictive in the thighs, while at the same time being really baggy behind the knees. This baggy fit behind the knees I find to be bothersome on Brooks' tights, as I end up with sweat pooling on the skin behind my knees, rather than it being wicked away as it should. At least Brooks finally started putting phone size pockets on their tights. However, the right side hip pocket, while nicely sized for most phones, is awkwardly high up. And the left side pocket zips open at the front, allowing anything in there to fall out if one carelessly forgets to zip it, or is just not careful when unzipping. Top of the pocket closures, please! I really struggled to find something I liked about this tight. But, from the lack of ankle zippers and the too tight yet too baggy fit, to the inadequately designed, albeit generously sized, pockets, this tight does not measure up to the steep price tag. If you feel that you can live with these deficiencies, at least try to find it on sale.

I really enjoy the pants. This was my second pair of Brooks thermal tights. Unfortunately, within the first week of use the zipper broke on the pocket when pulling the tights on.

I am a true ?medium ? 148 lbs, 5?6?. The medium size was way too small. So I ordered a large, still way too small. So I returned and bought another brand.

These thermal leggings are the best material I have ever felt and I was really excited to put them on but unfortunately they were not the right cut for my body. I have had two c-sections and they hit just below my belly button which was uncomfortable for my body. If they were high-waisted I would have loved them! I really like the design features of a drop in pocket and a zipper pocket. They were a little on the tight side so I recommend going up a size. Kept me nice and warm when outside when we had a few snow flurries for weather. Sorry not going to post a picture, They were just a little too snug on my body and I don't want to publish camel toe and pancake butt.
