Perfect fit and keeps me warm.

I'm 73 years old and run 5 miles every morning before sunrise, so that's the coldest part of the day. When temps are in the 20's or below, I wear the Momentum Thermal Tights under my regular running pants. They do a great job of keeping the chill off for the first mile and yet I do not overheat for the rest of the run. For me, they are actually too warm to wear as an under layer when temps are in the 30's. So, when I need to keep warm during cold runs, the Momentum Thermal Tights fill the bill perfectly. Just FYI, in the 20's and below, I also wear the Luxe short sleeve, Notch Thermal long sleeve 2.0, and the Activate Midweight Hoodie. I also wear a hat with ear flaps and mittens with Hot Hands warmers. I regulate my temp during the run by lowering the hood and unzipping the hoodie. When temps get in the low teens and below, I add the Shield Hybrid Jacket 3.0, and regulate my temp by zipping and unzipping the jacket also.

Nice and warm and I love the pockets. Has less stretch than other tights. I?m usually a small 5?3? 120#, and these feel a little like compression, but in a good way!

Super soft, high quality fabric and construction. My go-to for cold and moderately cold days.

Almost perfect except I am short, so the legs tend to bunch up annoyingly. Pockets are great, and are great for layering for outdoor runs

These tights are excellent. I bought them for my husband, who wanted a pocket for his phone while running. The pocket is perfect, and the tights are very comfortable and keep him warm in winter without being excessively hot. He's tall and slender and has trouble with pant sizes but these fit well. Highly recommend.

Looks and feels like a well constructed tight for winter running. I'm an in-shape male with larger calves, quads and hips. I am 5' 10" and 170 lbs. Have a 32" waist, 32" inseam, and 40.5" hips. Ordered a large and is too tight in quads and hips. Almost fits, but not quite. Can otherwise see how these tights would fit a more typical runner (slimmer) build. I would also categorize these as thermal weight, and would wear them below 20F (no higher).

I'm so happy I finally bought a running tight again and Brooks has met my long lost delicious feel of them on me while I'm doing many things outdoors or as an under long pant for cold days. I will use them for fun running, cross-country skiing and under my jeans as needed. Thanks Brooks

Love these tights. I?m using them for everything- walking, under ski pants, as knocking-around tights? they fit perfectly and are warm. Quality is what I would expect from Brooks products.

Purchased for my husband, son and son in law. They all liked the warmth, the fabric & the good fit as well as the pockets. I purchased for them using the size guide, and they fit each person spot on.

These tights are fantastic and they are good for 90+ minute runs down to about 32 degrees Fahrenheit with no additional layers. The tight pocket on the right is perfect for a phone or stuffing in a hat and gloves as I warm up, the extra zipper pocket is good to have, and the drawstrings ensure I get a good fit to keep everything warm. These are great for winter running either on their own or as a base layer as the temperatures get really cold.

I have an older pair of Brooks Winter tights and needed a second pair. I tried winter tights from 2 other companies and the Brooks are the best fit. I am running in 20 degree weather and these tights are great- kind of think and very soft. Might get another pair. Also the most accurate fit of all the one's I have tried.

Well designed pockets for keys and phone

I have 4 different brands of running tight and these are the best ones. They keep me warm and dry in CT winters.

I've done two long runs in these tights so far. One at 30 degrees in the mud and one at 25 degrees in a foot of snow in a trail race. The tights were great, and collected a lot less snow than a pair of joggers would have. The phone pocket is great as well and is secure. I seldom run with a phone, but it's a nice option and I was never worried about my phone falling out. Related to fit, I'm on the smaller side. It seems like a lot of posts said the tights run small, so I went with a medium (I'm 5'9" and 140lbs). The medium is fairly true to size in my opinion. I could have ordered the small Brooks tights and they would have fit fine. The mediums are fine on me, but unless you're between sizes I'd say the tights aren't crazy small like many people have posted, just go one size bigger if you're on the bubble. Obviously I can't speak to the larger sizes, but that was my experience with the mediums in any event.

I've never run with my phone before but putting it in this pocket was great.

Good warmth, wicks sweat. Sized a bit small (compared to "sizing guidelines"), but a good fit for me-- a woman with a relatively undersized posterior. Slip pocket is great for the phone.

These are my new favorite running tights. They are really soft on the inside, but not too heavy. My favorite feature is the cell phone pocket because it keeps my phone in one spot without bouncing around like it does when it's in my coat pocket. The zipper pocket is a great size for my house key, and it's nice to know it's secure. In Portland, Oregon we have cool weather and lots of rain. These are the perfect weight. They're not too heavy, but keep me warm on those cold mornings when I'm running before the sun comes up. The tights fit true to size and I was surprised that they were long enough (I'm 6'5). These are my new 'go-to' tights!
