Really good quality and comfortable.

I wear it when biking. Keeps me warm almost too well. I like the no cuff and it fits my big head. See what happens after I beat it up a few more times. So far so good.

I was looking to replace my favorite fleece hat and finally found something better with this wool beanie. It is just the right size, comfortable, and not too tight (which I find can lead to an itchy forehead).

Its warm soft and a great hat for a bald head. Probably pretty good if you don't have a bald head either!!

This is my favorite cold weather headwear! It breathes fantastically during high exertion activities, but keeps me warm when not moving so quickly. I purchased this hat as a replacement to the same that I lost, and it could not come quickly enough.

I use this under my larger bike helmet for winter. It's a little thicker which is nice but not too thick. I've got a large head and it's pretty snug but works!

This is not like my original from years ago, this new fit is much too long and therefore not as stylish as my original. Will be watching for an updated version

Good hat just wish it was a bit bigger. Only covers half of my ears.

I have had some variation of the Lid for much of the last two decades and it is my constant PNW laying companion. In fall/winter/spring I wear it alone or under a hood, and in summer I always have it for cool evenings or nights of tentless camping. Comortable, durable, functionally sytlish...all around goodness. I sometimes lose it and always replace it immediately. This latest model is ever so slightly too large, but I'm going to choose to not feel aggrieved about that and just be thankful to have an otherwise great beanie.

First of all, I am extremely picky about knit hats. They have to be totally on point for me to wear. I chose the sea foam color and was not disappointed with the shade - it's a beautiful tone. At first, I thought the hat might be a touch too small but after a few wears it stretched to perfection! I love the material, I love the design and I love the color of this awesome knit hat!!! Definitely recommend purchasing!! #smartwool

Feels more like plastic than wool. Scratches my forehead, Very disappointed. It's hard to find a true wool beanie.

Midweight beenie, but not the best for sitting still or super cold. Good for activity. Seems to lose elasticity, but this is from a bald guy. #sweepstakes

I bought this for my every day beanie. The last one I bought was this same one three or four years ago. This new one is thinner and smaller. It's not surprising but it is disappointing.

This one size fits all hat was way to big for my average size head. It appears to be well made and I like the style but it simply didn't fit so had to return it.
