They are not as warm as I'd hoped, the insulation is not very thick. When I'm walking at -12 C, my feet get cold. Many years ago I had a pair of Merrell slip on boots that looked very similar to these and I loved them and they kept my feet warm. I was hoping the Encore would be as warm. They are comfortable and I will wear warmer socks in them.

Boot is really comfortable & warm. However, the traction is horrible. Really slick, cannot wear in snow. I thought it looked odd before purchasing, but assumed because it was a snow boot, & Merrell, that they knew something I didn't. Very disappointing. Not sure how to get any use out of them.

Not the comfort level I'm used to with Merrell products. Fleece lining is a joke, as in almost nonexistent. Overall I'm disappointed and would not purchase again.

It's not waterproof. Water leaks in through the zipper.

Lightweight, not as insulated or as warm as I wanted. Large opening at leg of boot. Disappointing

I love Merrell footwear, so when I wore holes through the soles of my old Merrell boots, I was excited to treat myself to a new pair. I ordered these boots thinking they would be very similar to the pair of Merrell boots. In-person, I realized the quality was much lower than my old pair. The fleece lining around the ankle and calf is thinner than pictured online, and the stiff boot material causes chafing of my shins and calves unless I wear knee socks.

I really liked the look of these. Perfect for casual wear / wear to work in winter but wouldn't be appropriate for anything more. Definitely not warm enough to be outside in extreme temps. Unfortunately, when I tried them on at home I noticed a super annoying squeaky noise coming from one of the boots. Also, the soles appeared poorly constructed where they attached to the leather part of the boot. The noise alone required that they sent back. Honestly expect better from boots that cost this much.

Inside the boot states 100g insulation. The description when purchasing states 200g insulation. Please fix this. I need 200g insulation. I'm sending these back since I already have 100g insulated boots.

The sizing was off. I ordered a size and a half higher than my shoe size and I couldn't get them on. Very disappointing as they are very much like my old ones that I've had for years. The leather is cracking on them.

I had high hopes for these boots but am very disappointed! The quality of these boots seems to be sub standard to some of my other merrell snow boots. Very thin, not as much insulation. The worse part is that these boots squeak like crazy. I have tried all of the suggested remedies such as talcum powder, using something under the insole to absorb moistureetc. Nothing works! Both boots squeak way too much after you wear them for a couple of hours. I shouldn't have returned them but I I had already worn them before the squeaking started. There is clearly a manufacturing problem with these boots! Save your money and look for a better quality boot! Total waste of money.

These are really wide at the top and will let in snow. Also, they are really ugly.

The color bled in the box and came off on your hand, feels really cheap and size too small. Unpleasant surprise for Merrell.

Had to return primarily because the leg width was too tight. I debated returning them even before trying them on because they look like cheap plastic rather than the nice leathers Merrell used to sell. Huge disappointment
