I bought these in Dec. I find the zipper is not in a good place. It's difficult to get my foot in the boot. It's not because I have big ankles. The zipper should be more forward for ease of getting on in my opinion.

These are very nice. I couldn't keep them because the heel kept slipping ordered 1/2 size up. Length was fine

I just bought this a month ago hoping it will keep my feet warm during those freezing temperature, but Im disappointed Not warm enough below 20 degrees. One more hour in the cold today, my feet would have been frozen. The only positive thing is it's waterproof and easy to take off and put on. Other than that, for the price, it's so disappointing.

Hi I just returned these boots last week by mail. I usually buy a half size larger size 8 vs 7.5 for shoes but they are too large. They seemed nice otherwise but quality of "leather" is not what it used to be. I like the quality of the soles. I cannot comment on the return process yet.

These boots are amazing, just what you would expect from Merrill . I normally wear an 11 medium but bought an 11 wide this time as I wear thick wool socks in MN. For probably the last 15-20 years I have only bought Merrill boots and shoes as I an disabled and have trouble with arthritic feet and balance. I have probably bought over 1000 pairs as I love shoes and this is the first pair of Merrill's thAt are way too small. I would say 2 sizes and the width seems like a narrow. I do not have wide feet. Great looking boot, extremely warm and amazing traction but beware of sizing.

Was disappointed with the Bluff Zip Polar. The boot itself is nice, but just didn't fit me the right way. Unfortunately had to return them

I ordered a wide in this boot. I am on my feel all day in all kinds of weather so I had high hopes for this boot. Even ordering a wide it was not wide enough. At the end of the day my feet really hurt. It is indeed waterproof and seems well constructed for muck, it's just not comfortable.

Boot is comfortable and true to size. Toe area is spacious with room for a heavier sock. This is NOT a tall boot as described and does NOT have 200 gm of lightweight insulation. The inside of boot clearly indicates 100 gm of insulation. Boot will be fine for quick trips in and out of the car but not for long walks. Disappointing.

Attractive boot. Looked nice and warm. Just not enough room for my foot. Had to return.

I ordered my regular size not realizing these are very narrow fitting. I have another pair of Merrell boots that I love but after many years it was time for new ones. These unfortunately are nothing like my old ones, too narrow and much smaller. I returned them hoping to be able to order them in a 1/2 size bigger and in wide, but, they have never been in stock. I guess I just have to keep wearing my old ones and hope one day these will be in stock.

I bought these boots a few weeks ago and absolutely loved them. However after a few days, my right boot started to squeak when I walked. I was going to return them but I threw the box away. I have bought Merrell shoes and boots in the past and have never had a problem. I will not be wearing these boots anymore. Very disappointed.

I bought these a few months ago. I hesitate to wear them because it takes a huge effort to get them on. I have so many pairs of Merrell shoes and wear them daily but these boots fold down in the heel when I try to put them on. Once they are on, they are great and the size is perfect. My socks are not thick. They are a major disappointment!

Zero arch support! Love color. Fit is true Would maybe work with an eco insert but I'd likely had to have bought a size up if I'd known to go that route.

The pair I received were HUGE, like clown shoes! I ordered my regular size 10, and what I got said size women's 10 on the box and label, but easily had to be a Mens size 10 or a Women's size 12W. The quality is there and they look great, I just wished they fit! I could put my entire hand down the back of the boot with my foot in it and still had room to spare! And, my little piggies were just swimming in the excess room of the toe box. Obviously, I'm returning and praying I will get the correct size upon exchange! Clown shoes are not a good look on anyone, except maybe Clowns!

Nice styling and unfortunately, as I anticipated, they were a hard shoe and therefore uncomfortable. Needless to say, I was disappointed but not surprised. I frequently find Merreills to be hard. Where did I take these Encore Bluffs? To my nearest FEDEX drop box for a swift return.

I wanted to like these but the first time I wore them they wore a sore on the outside of both my ankles. Tried them again with thicker socks but could still feel them rubbing my ankle. They did keep my feet warm, that is why I gave them 2 stars.
