Cute but extremely uncomfortable and cause blisters. Worst shoes or boots I've ever bought!

What is the deal? I bought these "hikers" to use as a light hiking shoe, but the heel is LIFTED! I wear only flat shoes with good arches and insoles. When I tried this boot on, it felt like a high heel. It is hidden inside and there is nothing in the description or picture of the item that would let the customer know that it is a lifted heel. The foot with the boot on was more than an inch higher than the other foot! It will play havoc with my bad knee so I have to go to the hassle and return them.

I am a huge Merrill fan, i loved these boots when i saw them, Unfortunately they are very low quality. Im soo disappointed that the green color is peeling off and the rubber coming off toe.

Bought these a while ago (like 5 months ago), but have only worn twice because the first time I wore they were SO uncomfortable to the top of my feet. I gave them a second go with thicker socks, but they are still very uncomfortable. Also, the toe rubber is already peeling off, so I'd say these are inferior quality to what I normally receive from Merrell. Very disappointing.

They hurt the back of my ankles. I wish they would have worked out. They are cute.

These are the cutest boots but are so uncomfortable. They dug into my ankle so badly, causing them to bleed. But I loved them so much I tried everything, all my wool socks now have holes :( I love merrell and these are adorable but I had to return them defective maybe?

Wore these for one hike and the toe kicks peeled off the front of the boot and the entire surface of the shoe exterior started to peel off. The lace rivets project out on the interior of the shoe and dig into the inside of the foot. Needed moleskin on both the boot interior and my foot to tolerate wearing them longer than a few minutes.

Echoing earlier review: eyelets for shoe laces have no cover inside shoe. Huge design flaw: metal exposed to foot inside shoe. Metal eyelet rubs against foot inside shoe. Why oh why did Merrell allow this to go into production!?! Give one star for this unacceptable design. Otherwise great shoe.

I've owned 20+ pairs of Merrell shoes and these by far are the worst pair I've ever owned. They feel and look like they are plastic (very cheap looking)and I had blisters on the back of both ankles after wearing them for an hour. I loved the color and wanted to love them so bad. For the price I would not recommend!

Too of shoe stared to fall apart in two week. Do not buy
