Have used other versions of the Chameleon in the past and have always been pleased with their performance. This is the first time I have purchased the Chameleon 8 stretch. It is a really comfortable shoe and gives great support. I have used it to walk locally but can't wait to get it out on the trail. Comfortable, easy on and off and gives excellent lateral support. Fits great. Thanks.

My husband has been wearing this shoe for several years. He loves the ease of putting of the shoes and adjustable cord. The arch support is excellent as he uses them for his everyday work because he walks a lot in his job. Happy feet! Love this shoe!

If had mine now for years and simply indestructible which is nice considering the comfort level, also nice to get out the heavy boots or even the warmer climates Awesome product

I enjoy a comfortable durable shoe because I spend a good part of my day walking from place to place in the city. I also enjoy not having to deal with laces. These chameleon 8 Merrell shoes have everything I am looking for in an everyday shoe. Great for walking/hiking in most terrains.

Chameleon 8 is what I've been longing for, long time merrell wearer. Haven't liked what happened to the chameleon style since 4. But you've finally got it right. Thanks keep this style 4 ever

Every Chameleon since the original Stretch model (mid to late 90's?) has been junk. I wore my Stretch's until they were an embarrassment and the wife threw them out. Merrell, you then continued to release a string of sub-standard Chameleon models that were themselves embarrassments that were easy for me to leave on the shelf. I don't trust that Merrell has my interests or wants in mind, and I don't trust that this model will be available in a couple years. I will therefore, after giving this pair a test run, order several pair of these shoes and hope that quantity lasts me my lifetime. Thanks for bringing back this very close copy of the original but too bad we have to resort to buying several pairs because we don't trust future model availability.

This has been the best shoe I ever found, to be the most comfortable, most durable and versatile shoes ive yet to find. Can work 10+hrs standing on concrete at machine all day, then wear them home and still be comfortable in the same shoe as all day! Favorite shoes for the last DECADE!!!

These shoes fit fantastic. Better than other brands I have bought. I have a high arch and these don't affect it at all.

I have owned Chameleons before. This 8 Stretch model is the best yet. I am using it for hiking 5 - 20 miles with light daypack. One way this is better than previous models is that is slightly easier to get on. The "glove" fit makes it very comfortable all day long, but also made it right to get on. This model is better than previous ones

Extremely comfortable shoe, I usually have trouble getting a good fit in athletic shoes due to having a very narrow foot. Usually, medium D width shoes are way to loose especially around the heel. The neoprene cuff and deep heel pocket on these shoes allows them to fit close and comfortable around my narrow AAA heel. I also have flat feet and usually use an aftermarket orthotic insert, but surprise, the Merrell insert works perfectly, just the right amount of arch support and springiness. If you have narrow feet like I do and are leery of these types of shoes I say give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have a wide foot and was concerned how these shoes would fit. After a day of wearing them they broke right son and fit great. Very happy with them.

Recently got these. Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Have just ordered more. Would love the 8 waterproof in the color Boulder. I'm now a customer for life

I've been wearing the chameleon stretch since the originals. The 7s were not my cup of tea aesthetically and seemed hotter. They had me yearning for the older versions. So glad they went back to the old styling. Time will tell if these are as comfortable as the 5 and 6 models. So now I need to buy 10 pairs to keep on hand for when they decide to redesign.

This is my second pair of Merrell shoes my first pair was the high top. I really love them but was in need of a sneaker type. I went with Chameleon 8 stretch. I am not a hiker etc I bought them because I have RA. My feet at times flare up making it hard for me to walk. Merrell is a good investment. So easy to put on and take off.

bought these thinking they would be softer shell and was a little discouraged about my buy at this price (i love yokota 2 stretch soft plyable (super comfy) so i wasnt sure i would like the firmer shoe but much to my delight they are serving my well thanks merrell

My favorite shoes are the Prime Stretch and I had three pairs of those. I didn't like the Chameleon 7 stretch at all. Thanks for going back closer to the previous style. My only nitpick is the Vibram sole, which is a little stiff and takes away from the slipper feel of these shoes.
