Very comfortable and kept feet warm without getting too hot. Only complaint is that over time the wool on the inside begins to wear away. The soles are give good traction on tile and wood floors with no slipping. Overall a very good product.

these are amazing. i love the look and the fit. they are a little loose w/o socks, but i wear socks most of the time so am okay with that. i have a wide foot and the sole covers my foot, not always the case with form-fitting shoes/slips.
they were a little scratchy (as wool is) the first few wears w/o socks, but are fine now (unless my feet are hot, at which point i switch over to my summer house shoes anyway). they have "felted" a bit on the insole, more so in first week of wear, but that seems to be slowing down. i've hung onto the wool mats that felted off so i can have a sense of how much they shed. already considering my next pair and the bootie version. hope LL Bean keeps these in rotation and adds more styles and colors!

Warm and comfortable. No sweating, and no discomfort with sole thickness. After various brands, this one is the best. Personal preference was for easy-on-easy off fit. At 5'9", 165#, and typically a 10 shoe size, did have to increase from 44 to 45. The 45 allows for a heavier sock to deal with cold toes personal condition while still offering easy slip on.

I ordered my regular size of 37 but had to return for a size 36. I love the open back and the wool, which does not cause hot feet but is warm and cozy. The rubber soles keep me from slipping on my tile and wood floors and also allow me to go outside for the newspaper or mail.

I've had these slippers for two or so months now and I love them! They're super warm even when I wear them without socks. I wore them for 2 weeks in the cold northern Maine winter (inside the house, of course!) and they passed that difficult test. There's no smell/stink to them yet, so I guess there really is something to their marketing about lanolin and natural odor prevention. But if that ever does change I can wash them. Next winter, I'm going to buy the higher cut boot version and keep these for other-than-winter months.

These are great, I got the size 44 which was listed as a 9-10. I normally wear a size 10 and these fit me very well. They are loose, but that's how I like slippers to fit. can wear them with socks not problem. great quality, so far so good. Have only had them for a month so can't say how durable they are.

These slippers were made for me. I slid them on and they fit like I had had them for years. The sole has great traction. I would recommend these to anyone.

I bought these for husband for Christmas. He has been looking for slippers that he can wear around the house but also outside if needed and don't make his feet sweat. These slippers hit the mark. He absolutely loves them! Super happy with this purchase.

This is my first pair of Glerup slippers with the rubber outsole and I love them. They do offer additional traction for walking down stairs, and limited outside activities like getting the mail etc. Since there is no insole, other than the wool, the thicker rubber outsole gives the impression of a bit of cushion compared to the leather only outsole. I'm a guy and I wear a 8.5 size dress shoe. I first bought a pair of open heel slippers in Denmark, and tried them on with socks and a 43 fit best. When I got home, I realized that these are often worn barefoot and the 43 was too big, so on my next trip to Denmark I bought a 42 slipper shoe version and that was perfect to wear barefoot which I often do first thing in the morning. (I didn't realize that LL Bean sold these till this year; no need to buy these in Denmark any longer). I normally can slip my foot right into these. When I saw that LL Bean offered the rubber outsole version, I decided to buy a 43 because I often wear socks with them vs going barefoot, and if I was wearing them outside in winter I would want to have socks on. I went back to the open heel version because they are super easy to slip on and off. They keep my feet warm in winter, but in summer they breathe well and my feet aren't hot. They look great and I like the simple design. After wearing them a bit, your foot naturally forms an impression in the wool making them extra cozy. They are a bit more money than other slippers, but they are all natural, except for this rubber outsole version. Since wool naturally wicks the moisture from your feet, your feet can breathe and be dry, with no odor issues. In my humble opinion, these are great to experience a little hygge for the upcoming winter season.

Old around the house slippers gave up the ghost and thought I would try these felt versions. I can't explain exactly why, but they just feel so comfortable! I know it's subjective, but it was an immediate impression when I put them on and walked about in them. Now we shall see if they last, but LL Bean stuff usually does.

I've never been a slipper man. I am now. Fancy rigs, these, but worth it. I look forward to slipping them on when I get home. Wool is the best.

These are the most comfortable slippers...ever...period. The color is beautiful, for starters. also, they are super warm and the material is NOT itchy what-so-ever (something I was afraid of!). I can wear them with or without socks, but usually I opt to wear them with socks. The hard bottoms are a huge perk. I can wear them outside to the mailbox, walk into the garage, or just reassured I wont be slipping down the stairs in them! Some of the material sheds but its nothing i've worried about. They haven't seemed to stretch and i think they've already molded to my foot....so that I may never take them off! They are well worth the money and your feet will thank you!! My sister has the pair that goes up to your ankle with the slit on the side which are also great and easy to slip on and off without having to pull them on your foot with your hand.

I wish I could give a more thourough review. Unfortunately, the largest size offered was a smidgen too short. I decided to give it a try based on the Euro to USA size cross referencing, however, it came up just short. Wish Bean would offer one size up more if the manufacturer offers it and I think they do. Based on my limited feel and observation I will say that they very nice shoes with high quality wool felt. Should be very warm, too.

My husband has had a very hard time finding slippers that are comfortable, warm, and have a sole that grips (but not too much). These are perfect for him. The best!!!

The 8 was too short, so I got the 8.5; the larger size was perfect in length but felt far too wide.

Overall very comfortable and I like the style. I need a semi-wide toe box and these were perfect. The problem I have is that my heels are not so wide and the slippers just slipped off my heels. So sorry that these had to go back.

Love my leather soled Glerups, but the roundness of the rubber sole on these didn’t work for me.

I ordered these and had to return them because they were too large. Since I had ordered the same Glerups wool slippers three times and was quite satisfied, I was quite surprised at how large the same sized slipper with the open heel rubber outsoles were significantly larger. After calling LL Bean to return, they suggested ordering a half size smaller (which I did). When the larger slippers arrived, they still felt somewhat loose, but I decided to not go through the hassle of returning them and reordering again.

VERY THICK wool clog. However, the sole was kind of narrow, making the shoe feel tippy/unbalanced. I wanted wool shoe to wear in icy snowy slippery conditions, so these seemed like a bad idea for that.
