Quality craftsmanship, these slips get the job done. Follow the sizing chart on the Glerups website as it is slightly different than that chart on LL Bean. I wear a 10.5 shoe and ordered the 44 size. Perfect fit.

Every time I put these on I tell my husband how much I love them (it wasn't a gift from him, I just NEED to tell someone how awesome they are). Sometimes when I am at work late I just dream about getting home and putting these on (is hat weird?). I have feet that are prone to sweating. This makes it challenging to get a good slipper one can wear without socks that also keep your feet warm. These slippers are great. They did shed a bit when I first got them. It took about 2 weeks to get them super comfy, but now my feet are warm and comfy within 1 minute of slipping these on. The warmth and comfort is immediate! I will never buy another slipper. So worth the splurge!

I bought these in the fall of 2017, and having worn them every day around the house, they still show no sign of falling apart. They are extremely comfortable and warm, but because the upper is wool they breathe extremely well, so your feet won't sweat in them. I even wear them in the NYC summers, with no socks on, and they don't feel too warm. Although they might seem too pricey for a pair of slippers, I think they're worth the price. I'll definitely buy a new pair when these wear out.

Had wool felt slippers years ago and loved them but the sole wore down and got slick and slippery. I never noticed these before on Bean's website, but loved them when I saw them. I have them on right now and they are warm and comfortable without the bulk of full moccasin slippers. Yes, they are expensive, but they are great and the quality of the felt and the leather soles is top notch. Now my husband wants a pair!

I spent quite awhile looking for wool slippers with a soft sole to replace a pair of Haflinger that developed a hole in the toe after only a few months of wear. I have been wearing these new Glerups for a month or so and am VERY pleased. They were comfortable right out of the box, and the "lip" on the back of the heel really keeps the slipper on your foot. They are warm without making my feet too hot, and I love the soft sole - I didn't want something to wear outside at all so these are perfect. It may just be the nature of wool slippers that they won't last for years, but at this price I'm OK replacing periodically. Highly recommend!

I wanted slippers easy to put on with soft soles because I have hardwood floors. These are it..l can wear socks or barefoot they feel like a warm wool sock. They breathe so never get too hot. Design is great

I got these for my wife because she has had problems with cold feet in the winter. She's been wearing these for a month now, all day long in the house, and NO cold feet. Says she doesn't know she's got anything on her feet, they're so comfortable. She also likes their name. I bought a size larger so she could wear a pair of wool socks in them. They seem to be holding up well so far, but it's only been a month.

I love these slippers for around the house. I am a "7M", which means that sometimes 37, sometimes 38 is a fit. I needed the 38 for length, which made them a little too roomy, and needing a sock. At first, they slipped up and down at the heel, but with time, they formed to my foot, and are very comfortable. I like the leather sole, which is easier on my furniture when I put my feet up. This is the second style I've purchased. The "boot" style is warmest, but these are easiest to slip on and off. I have a slim foot, but I think they would also work well for a wider, or bulkier sort of foot.

I was hopeful the slippers would not itch too much, since they are made of wool felt. They don't at ALL.

I bought these for my wife, but she wanted something with no back/heel at all -- a true slip-on. I don't mind the extra one second it takes to put my foot in, so I got to keep them. They're awesome. I've usually had the LL Bean Women's Wicked Good slippers, which I also like, but in Florida they're sometimes a bit hot. I like how the outsole is leather, rather than plastic, the ease of putting them on, and no laces to come untied. Cute, too.

I love them but a 43 is normally a US size 9 womens. They are a little too long, but I absolutely love them. If I order them again I'll order a 40 so they should fit properly!

This slipper combines the best - cozy, warm wool and a moccasin bottom. I used to wear unpadded moccasins at home, but they are very difficult to find now. This slipper provides good winter warmth and moccasin comfort. Enough room for a wool sock (to keep ankles warm) and...happy, happy!

These are great. Very comfortable and stylish and warm. Just FYI check the sizing as LLbean only lists the womans sizing chart. If you go to the Glerups web site they have mens and womans sizing chart. Hopefully LLbean will add a mens chart. I have the charcoal but the other colors are great too.

I love these slippers. I have neuropathy and my feet are always cold. They keep them so warm and snuggly. I love the soft moccasin sole. They are so comfy to wear around my house. My only problem with them is that I have to wear socks with them. They are itchy on my feet, which I am sure is because they are wool, and why they keep my feet so warm. So with socks they are the perfect slipper. If you're okay with socks with them I'm pretty sure you will love them.

I bought these on Thanksgiving weekend as an early Christmas present for my husband. The 44 was a bit too big for his size 9 feet, but these have been entirely out of stock since I bought them, so getting him a 43 hasn't been an option. (I tried replacing them with a 43 in another style of Glerups that have an awesome rubber outsole. He tried them for about a month, but he didn't like the rounded shape of the sole and the tall back of the slipper.) Now a month after Christmas, a 43 is still entirely out of stock, so my husband decided he'd rather keep and use the original pair I'm reviewing here. He's making do with the slightly too-big size, although he also thinks the height of the slipper opening prevents him from getting his foot in far enough to keep them from feeling floppy when he walks. However, they're very comfortable on his feet and we're hoping the opening size may break in a little with some wear. He loves this slide-on style, and was happy to get back to these after trying the other style of Glerups.

These slippers were great the minute I put them on. My only complaint would be in the description as an "open heel" shoe. My idea of "open heel" would be like a mule - no fabric at all behind your heel. These slippers have a small piece of fabric (about 1/2 inch high) behind the heel- it doesn't bother me, but I wasn't expecting it. Still, a great slipper.

Love these. They are warm and comfortable. If you need more support I would suggest something with a little more structure and a hard sole. They are like moccasins. They are great to throw into a travel bag or when visiting others.

Very nice slippers. They are warm and easy to slide into. They don't have much support and the sole conforms to your foot; a little like being barefoot.

I own many slippers including LL Bean's Elk (also very nice), but these are my favourite. - Exceedingly light - Warm but they breathe well - Felt is rugged - they will last
