Bought a size bigger

They are comfortable and cozy. My feet are the perfect temperature.

Why did I not purchase these long ago?? They are warm, pretty waterproof, easy on and off. So comfortable!

I couldn't possibly love these more than I do now. These are the slippers I've been dreaming of. I didn't really want to pay this price, but now I'm so glad I did. It's like walking on cozy clouds. Most of the time I wear them with socks, but when I have these on with bare feet--I can't stop saying, "Oh, these are so comfortable. These are so cozy." My husband is tired of it. I'll have to get him a pair so he knows what I'm talking about.

I wear Haflinger shoes all the time. However, their slippers now do not fit me as they should. Purchased and returned many pairs. Never heard of this brand, and since Bean has a great return policy, I bought them from you. So far, like the slip-on clog slipper. However, size down.. Had to return two pair. Wool has a stretch to it and it molds to your foot. You want them secure on your feet and not walk out of them. Finally a slip-on slipper I think I will be able to safely wear..

Loved 'em from the minute I took them out of the box. Perfect fit. Very warm. I'm wearing them all day when working inside.

Easy on, easy off. Warm without being overly warm. On really cold days use socks, normal no socks. Just what I was looking for to mope around the house during the virus blitz.

The size of the slippers are true to their (EU) size but the translation between European and US sizes on the size chart here is wrong/misleading. Just order whatever EU size you normally are.

The MOST COMFORTABLE, WARM, light weight slipper for WESTERN NY weather ! Feels like not having anything on your feet. Well made super thick felt upper with non-slippery leather sole. WARM & WEARABLE without socks. HIGHLY recommend purchasing these. Could actually wear these outside - providing no rain or snow. Ended up buying a second pair for my Florida residence.

But if you plan to go without socks, order a size smaller than chart recommends.

I've had these house shoes/slippers for about a month and I love them. Originally I ordered size 45 but had to trade them for a size 44. In my opinion they are sized slightly too generously but there's also personal preference to consider. For example, I don't like to wear socks with mine but if you do, you might prefer the slight roomier feel. These are super warm, especially the first week or so. After wearing they do tend to "deflate" of sorts, and aren't quite as hot as the first handful of wearings. These should not be worn around water or outside as the bottoms are leather. They slip on and off really easily and once the sizing is right, they stay put. So far I'm in love.

I just received my slippers, so I can't attest to durability yet, but given the thickness of the wool, I'm pretty sure they will be my go-to slipper for quite a while. I have been wearing Haflinger slippers for about 5 years and while I loved them, I always got a hole in the toe after a couple of years. The wool in this slipper is several times thicker so I don't think that will be an issue. Regarding size, I wear a 5.5 in US sizes in most shoes, but have always fit a 37 in shoes that I buy in European sizes (Birkenstocks, Haflinger, Dansko). I initially order the 37 in the Glerups slipper but found them too big. Size 36 is just right.

I can't really add to the many glowing reviews except to say that they are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a slipper that didnt make my feet sweat like the plush lined slippers for sale everywhere. I wanted one that I could wear without socks. I also needed a slipper that stayed on like a shoe so I could descend steep basement stairs without tripping. These Glerups are all of that and more. I did go to their sizing site, measured my foot, and ordered the 41. I wear very close go a 10 medium shoe, sometimes 10.5. A couple of things to note: the back of the slipper is lower, and my foot slips up and down a little when I walk, but feels natural; the leather sole, which I Love, doesn't look as nice after a few wearings and living in a real winter climate with dog and hubby, but still feels amazingly supple and gives me a nice, almost barefoot feel. I would order again, though hoping they last a long time. I am also considering the rubber soled version to work in the garage or get the mail. Highly recommend.

Only problem: size chart is wildly inaccurate.

I purchased these slippers for my wife for Christmas. They fit wll and are very comfortable. She wanted a slipper that had a harder sole so she could go outside if needed but wore well around the home. They look nice very nice and seem to be well constructed. We are very happy with the purchase.

I am normally a person who runs warm and has vey wide feet. I was apprehensive to get slippers but with renovations at home, I needed something sturdy that could only be worn indoors to prevent small shards getting into my feet. Now that renovations are over, I am STILL wearing them day in and out. They are warm, but don't make my feet sweat. I have wide feet, and they aren't too tight. They are secure but still can be slipped on and off. They are well worth the price!

I am not a guy who writes slipper reviews, but.....please read on. I recently needed to lose 20 pounds and as a result found myself with permanent popsicle toes. Even wool socks and my old slippers no longer kept my feet warm. It is Cristmas Day and my dear wife surprized me with a pair of Glerups. I have had them on for about six hours and my feet have not been this toasty for a long time. I also have a bit of arthritis in my big toe which is much worse when it's cold. Today it feels much better. I would love to give Nanny Glerup a big hug. Signed, Mr Toasty Toes.

I have been on the hunt for an upgraded pair of slippers that will last me several seasons. While I cannot yet tell what the long term wear will look like as I've only had them 2 months so far, I can say I'm extremely pleased with these slippers so far. I am a size 9.5 and the size 41 fits me perfectly. I actually ended up ordering two sizes and picked the one that fit best and returned the second pair. I recommend doing that, if you are able to. I love how these are made from wool and are more sustainable than other mass produced slippers. They really do mold to your feet. The first couple of weeks, you will notice some of the wool from the inside clumping and falling onto the floor when you take your foot in/out. That's normal. The suede bottoms also show wear but will patina naturally like Birkenstock's do, for example. They make your footsteps virtually silent and perfect for tiptoeing around sleeping kids. I like scuff style slippers as I tend to slip my feet in and out based on how warm I am at the moment- these work perfectly for that. I have the denim color which is beautiful. I highly recommend these slippers! I have high hopes that they will last me for many seasons to come.

This is my first pair of Glerups. They are so comfortable and light weight on my feet. I liked them so much, that after wearing them for 1 week, I ordered a pair for my husband. He also finds them very comfortable. They are to be worn only in the house.

I love the thick wool/felt and how easy they are to slide into. Perfect for cold winter's evenings by the fire.

Runs on the small side so I ordered a size bigger than normal. Very comfortable and warm. Glad they are not made in China.
