They are totally unconstructed, no support. Great for indoors.

I am very appreciative of L.L. Bean's return policy. I bought a pair of these slippers that was too large, but didn't get around to exchanging them for several months for a smaller pair. No problem. As to the slippers themselves, they are very warm and comfortable, but harder to put on than most slippers I've worn. Also, not as good for going outside as slippers with harder soles.

These slippers are warm and very comfortable. I wish they fit a little narrower as there are small gaps behind my ankles

These slippers are great if your feet get cold in the winter. They have no arch support, but I put orthotics in and they're great now.

We have a tile basement... Needless to say it is extremely cold in the winter time. These slippers are a game changer. My feet do not sweat in them and they are kept very warm even when I walk on the tile. The only thing I would say that I don't like about them is that the wool tends to ball up inside. Then I reach in and remove a ball maybe once a week.

Just got these slippers today and even though they are not yet broken in, they are quite comfortable. I like that they are wide in the toe area and that my toes are not all "squished" together. I live in Maine and my tile floors tend to stay fairly cool. So far these slippers have kept my feet warm despite the cool floors. One word of caution. Use the Glerups site size chart to determine the size you need. The first pair I ordered using the LLBean size chart were a full US size to large. I floated in them! I went from an EU size 44 to 42 and they fit just fine.

I usually take a 42; these were too small. Zappos does not carry a 43.

I love these slippers! So, so cozy. I wear a size 8 and ordered a 39; I believe I could have probably gone with the 38 - the current size fits when I wear thick socks. I look forward to putting these on everyday and shockingly, my feet don't get sweaty like they do in my Ugh slippers. My one qualm is that when these arrived, there was something sharp stuck in the inside of one of the slippers. It feels very tiny - like maybe the tip of some plastic or something? But we have tried and tried and there is no way to get it out, so I can't wear these without socks unless I want one of my feet all scratched up and irritated.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these, but after wearing them for the first time I was impressed by their warmth and comfort. The wool helps keep my feet warm without making them sweaty, even after wearing for the whole day. The big problem is that the suede outsole is very difficult to care for. The outer is made from vegetable tanned calfskin suede, which is notoriously difficult to clean and keep in good condition. After only a few days of wear, the outsole became very dirty even though my floors aren't particularly dusty. This is simply due to the suede nap picking up dirt easily, and not the fault of the shoe itself. Since you can't wash suede (or any leather), you have to clean them by hand using a proper leather cleaning solution. You also have to let them air out completely after each cleaning, and condition the suede every couple of months to prevent it from drying out. Unless you feel like cleaning these every week, I strongly recommend the version with rubber outsoles instead.

Expensive. Expected more in comfort and warmth. Concerned about them getting dirty & not being washable.

I bought these for my partner, who wears a men's size 10/10.5. LL Bean's size chart said a 10.5 would be a 45, but they were definitely too big. We went to the Glerups' website and they say a 10.5 would be a 44. He loves them- but just double check your sizing before purchasing!

Be careful with fit! I love the slippers but they were really too small even at one size above my usual! i have some foot problems and fit is difficult, so I usually get shoes a size bigger than my feet so I can put my orthotics in-- and my feet are a little odd anyway. In this case i ordered my normal one size too big and then had to exchange them and get a pair TWO sizes bigger than usual! they say they stretch out, but til that happens, i just found them uncomfortable. otherwise they're great! but be careful if you have anything other than perfect feet!

My 11 year old son loves them, but they seem to shed quite a bit of wool. Every week I find bits on the floors and also stuck to the opening of the slippers. I don't think $90 plus slippers should do this.

These shoes were a little too short when first worn but fabric stretched to a better fit over time. My foot is very narrow therefore the medium (only width offered) is a bit wide looking but it doesn't hinder fit. The shoes are so warm. If you have cold feet you will love them.

But they pill!! I have to remove fuzz balls from around the foot opening virtually every day, so I wonder how long these will actually last. That said, these are super comfortable and very warm slippers. Somehow, they really don't make your feet sweat.

Just received these about 2+ weeks ago. They are definitely warm enough, and look better than the standard moccasin or Hugh Hefner in bathrobe type. The one thing you need to know, based on my experience, is that the size is based on wearing socks of at least moderate thickness. I.e., wearing just thin socks or in bare feet my feet swim around in them a bit.

The sole of this shoe is curved which made it feel like I could easily roll an ankle. If the base were flat I would have kept them.

I got these for Christmas & by March they developed a hole in the R pinky toe area. They were super comfy otherwise & I wore them daily! I am going to try the sweater slippers instead.

Love to wear these and would give them a higher review but they don't seem durable. I had them for 3 winters (only wear them inside Nov-March) and the stitching on one started to unravel. Took to LLBEAN but they said it this was the life of the slipper.

Really wanted to like these but couldn’t even get them on. There wasn’t a big enough opening to even get my foot through.

The Glerups slippers are comfy and quiet but after only 10 days the felt is rubbing off at the heel. The felt can't take the friction of slipping on the slippers.

I liked the material of the shoes, but they were hard to get in and out of so I ordered another pair of Glerups without the heal. I love them.

I ditto the reviewer with this same title. I absolutely love these slippers but they began to develop holes in just over a year. For $100, I would at least expect reinforced areas such as the toe area. Other than that they are awesome--so comfortable and lightweight but warm. Can wear with or without socks but not bulky socks unless you purchase a size larger.
