I bought these for my adult son who has very definite criteria and these slippers met all the requirements..soft sole, comfortable, no added lining and look great. He's very happy.

Exactly what I had hoped for .. the highest quality materials and workmanship. It's easy to slip them on, no hands; so easy that I actually look forward to wearing them. They feel great, with or without socks. Wish I'd found these sooner!

I absolutely love these slippers. Be aware that the sizing is not correct on the chart. I'm a 6.5 shoe. Had to send the 37 back for the smaller 36. Fit is just right now. Slippers are so comfortable and warm!

I love these slippers. They are so warm and comfortable. They are roomy enough that I can put my orthotic inside them. These are wonderful in the fall and winter months. I love them so much I ordered another pair this year!!!

Just got these and my feet feel amazing in them!! I never want to take them off. The felt is so thick, I can't imagine holes developing - but we'll see. Right now, they're cozy and the footbed confirms to my foot like a toasty little pocket. Love em!!

I'm the wife and he's the husband. We go through slippers every year and are never truly happy with them, until we ordered these. No, you won't look like you're wearing Smurf shoes or hooves. They are supremely, deluxedly comfortable, right out of the box. And they're going to get even better over time as they custom form to your feet. My husband always ends up wearing his slippers with his heels pushing down on the back, so I thought the slip-on version of these would be better for him. But I went ahead and got these instead, based on the great reviews, and he loves them. You'd think they'd be hard to slip your foot into, but they're not. You'll need to use a finger as a shoehorn, but it's quick and easy and I think they'll loosen and adjust so this won't be necessary as a forever thing. We don't really care, though. These slippers are amazing, and they stay on his feet. He'll never squash down the heels on his slippers again. He's a size 11.5 with an average width and so I chose that size, but he felt they were moving around a bit too much and wanted to try the size 45, and that's the pair he ended up keeping. The reviews say they will get even better with age. It's hard imagining them getting any more awesome than they already are! For me, the woman in the relationship, I ordered my actual size and they're perfect. I'm a size 7.5 and ordered them in a 38. It's possible a smaller size would have been nice, too, but I didn't feel the need to bother waiting for another order to arrive. I've only had these for maybe two weeks and it's been pretty warm here in California, but my feet love them. I don't want to take them off, and they're going to be superbly comfy during winter. What I wasn't expecting was the well formed sole. They are incredibly durable and beautifully constructed. There's a barely noticeable fold of leather at the front and on either side of the heel at the back. That allows for the rounded shape. The soles are really thick and dreamy and very stable. I've read elsewhere that boiled wool slippers like these shed a lot of fur for a while. This is a normal process and probably should be mentioned in the description. The long fibers work their way up through the very thick wool. Eventually this will stop, so don't be surprised if they get a bit furry. As for the color, we chose the blue. They look just like the photos. It's a gorgeous color. We have a kajillion animals and didn't want a dark color, lest we look like we're wearing our pets on our feet. The blue doesn't show much of anything at all. We're seriously so happy with these slippers that we know we're finally done doing the yearly slipper search. Side note: We don't have much money, folks. But we're certain we'll have these for a few years. Oh, and for fun go watch a YouTube video on how to make boiled wool slippers like these. I doubt I could ever come close to making a nice pair, but it's really interesting how they do this. Cheerios!

Size: I typically wear a size 9 to 9.5W. These slippers were a slight bit narrow when I wear socks and fit nicely without socks. After just a few wears, they are stretching a little so they fit better. My ankles are narrow and, like most footwear that I try on, these look a little odd around my ankles when I walk, but they remain on firmly. Comfort: They are warm without causing my feet to sweat. The wool is soft and not scratchy. The sole is somewhat padded, adding to comfort when walking. The leather bottom is convenient when walking into the garage or outside on a dry surface. These slippers are expensive, but seem to be quality. Good quality usually costs more and I think they are worth the higher price (having Bean bucks and a coupon definitely added to the value).

Bought these slippers for my husband who has a wide foot and they fit fine. He has problems with one foot after having surgery to his back and has had a problem getting slippers to fit and keep his feet warm. He is very comfortable in these slippers. I should buy another pair to keep on hand in case these slippers change in the future. Thank you L.L.Bean for your wonderful products and service.

Wish I'd discovered these years ago. Very warm, very comfortable, and a sturdy sole that doesn't quite feel like a shoe but is better than just a suede bottom. Heel is reinforced at top so I'm expecting that to prolong the life as I slip them on and off. A bit pricier than other slippers but so far well worth it.

I bought these as a gift for my husband this Christmas and he loves them! They fit him perfectly. He tends to run pretty hot (as men seem to do) and his feet do not get overheated in these. Highly recommend!

I bought size 39 based on the recommendation from llbean. I normally wear size 8 in a shoe. I always wear socks, and that gave me a good fit. If I didn't wear socks, I would go down one size. These are the warmest slippers ever. Other brands of slippers cause my feet to sweat and then once my socks are damp, my feet get cold. That does not happen with these. The thick felted wool is warm, but breathes and doesn't make my feet sweat. There is not much arch support, but I have put my orthotics in the slipper at times when I want more support. That works just fine. My husband is now hinting that he wants a pair.

These are very warm, made of felted, not boiled wool. You will want to wear socks with them. Sole is flexible, and well cusioned, but probably not for wearing outside.I wear a size 7 and a half. Slippers are usually whole sizes, so 7 is too small, but 8 means I flop around the house in them. These are exactly the material I was looking for (serious warm) and they fit just right. I especially appreciated the style. They have the typical "scuff" (backless), and a "boot" up around the ankle, but they also had this "shoe" style that has a back but is cut about where an oxford shoe would sit around the ankle. This means they stay on your feet and don't leave your heels out in the cold. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is maybe some piping or edging around the top for both looks, and protection for the place where you slip your foot in, especially where the foot rubs the top edge as you put it on. I am guessing this will be the place that will have heavy wear as one slips their foot in and out numerous times. I love these. I have been looking for a boiled wool type slipper for warmth, love the shoe style, and was pleasantly surprised with an exceptional fit. Would strongly recommend!

These slippers keep your feet warm without making them sweat. They also give your feet full coverage front/back and over your heel. I am really enjoying how light they feel.

I actually bought these Glerups on a whim at Copenhagen airport, sort of as a Danish souvenir. I've worn them nearly every day (even in the summer) for about 1.5 years now and even accidentally washed one of them in the washing machine. The leather sole develops a great waterproof patina over time and even washing it didn't alter it in the slightest. I've noticed only the slightest of pilling on the inside of the heel, but I'm confident these will withstand another 5+ years of daily wear.

As a physical therapist, I look for a slipper/indoor shoe that is supportive, warm, easy to slip on and safe. Glerups actresses all and I love the pair I have been wearing for the past month. At first, the slipper was large in length, but after daily wear indoors, it did mold to my feet. I do need to wear a heavy sock to feel snug and comfortable. I will recommend them to patients and friends.

I love these slippers!! They really do keep your feet warm without making them sweat. I wear a 9 1/2 in shoes and the size 40 fits well with enough room for a lightweight pair of socks when it is really cold.

I love these slippers! The wool is incredibly soft, not itchy at all. They keep your feet warm but don't make you sweat. I wear a size 8 and bought the 39. I have thin, narrow feet and I felt as if I was going to walk out of them. They are very roomy in the front, and slightly wide. Also the left slipper was slightly larger than the right one at first. After wearing them for a while they molded to my feet and now fit perfectly. I can slip in and out of them easily, but if you have a high arch you might have to pull them on. If this annoys you, opt for the open heel version. These have a "barefoot" feel to them. They're not padded on the bottom, and don't offer arch support. I was looking for something that wasn't very structured, so these are perfect for me. I wear them barefoot so I can feel the soft wool sole. Mine are not pilling at all. I'm very impressed with the quality of materials used and the workmanship. I feel like these will last for years. Very happy I found these!

I'm a stay-at-home mom in Maine. Running around the house all day my feet are usually cold and uncomfortable and most slippers are cumbersome and don't last. These glerups have been great. Warm and comfortable and my feet don't sweat. They have durable soles that are quiet on the floors when I'm doing chores after the kids are in bed. I usually wear an 8.5 and the 39's fit well... actually with a little extra room lengthwise but my heels don't pop out despite. I wear these every day, nearly all day and am very happy with them.

I've tried other slippers from LLBean and these are the absolute best. The fit is good, and they keep my feet warm without making them sweat, the perfect combination. I hope they last forever, but, if they don't, I'll be back for another pair!
