Bought these shoes for my faster running days and they did not disappoint. These shoes really work their magic when you pick up the pace. I feel like I'm gliding with these shoes.

I bought the Speed 2's after wearing Saucony Freedoms for a few years and I am really glad I changed model lines. This shoe has a higher offset drop than the Freedoms but it didn't impact run stride or anything from what I can tell. The nylon plate in the sole is a huge benefit that my Freedoms didn't have. I could feel the Speed 2s literally pushing me along even when I knew my legs were fading. Speed 2s seem to have an ample amount of cushioning but the weight is pretty good still. I'd highly recommend these shoes.

I went on my first run with this beauty and I have never felt so good running in a shoe. This shoe is a different experience the speed roll technology, the
Ultralight PWRRUN PB, all the features described delivers and even more. Thank you Saucony for putting so much effort to help us athletes perform at our best. You guys are awesome!!!

Recently purchased and incredibly satisfied. I've been a big Kinvara guy for a while but going with the endorphin speed was the best decision for a new pair of running shoes. The power PB acts like a spring board with every step and the comfort is next level, 10/10. Also helps the design is somewhat 80s retro so that's a vibe.

I'm an owner of the Endorphin Pro 1 (~75 miles) and Shift 1(~150 miles), and just recently added the new Speed 2 (50 miles recorded) to my training shoe collection. My plan for this shoe is to rack up high tempo & marathon paced miles while keeping similar shoe feel to the Pro. Overall, the lightness, nylon plate "spring", and cushion is incredible for my intended purpose. I like that the Speed 2 has more heel padding than my Pro 1, and I find the Speed v2 to have a WAY better lace lockdown than the Pro 1. My only con for the shoe is the midsole foam takes a little getting used to. In past training, I used shoes such as the ISO Ride 1 (500+ miles) and 2 (500+ miles). While the Ride ISO had a more "forgiving" midsole, I do prefer the Speed/Pro midsole once I dialed in my foot strike.

I am training for my first marathon and was looking for more long distance durability. I purchased the scarlet Endorphin Speed 2s and have not regretted it whatsoever. Do not let that plush look fool you, these shoes are incredibly responsive and made to elevate your running game. I have enjoyed the spring feeling they give me and cannot wait for the miles to come.

I have ran in them only in one race so far. I had a "break-in" period & itIt took a little to get use to, but my time has improved!

My feet feel a little funny in these shoes, like the back outside heel is too high. I think I had this happen before and after I put some miles in things felt more normal.

These are comfortable and supportive. I use them for walking and I feel like I picked the right sneaker for this. I walk seven miles a day and I feel like I have spring in my walk. The material seems a little thin above me toes. That is my only critical observation of this sneaker.
Thanks,

Not as snappy as the first iteration, still great!

I love the 'springy' feel of running with this shoe. I would have given it 5 stars, but it seems a little wide, and when I lace up the laces are very close together. Not like my other Saucony shoes.

Really good shoes, but I made a mistake in buying them. I should have purchased a wide show, and one that is not so flexible. I really cannot wear them now.

My first pair of Saucony, it's comfortable but need to get used to it due to the soles are thicker than other shoes.

I picked up Speed 2's and Kinvara Wides a couple weeks ago. The Kinvaras are the first wide shoe I've bought (I wear size 12) and I've been running for a few years.
I found the Speeds might not be wide enough for my foot. My feet want to roll inward a lot in these shoes. I went on a 10k run and had a lot of shin pain. There's also this weird bump I can feel in 1 shoe (right) on the right side midfoot. It might be the end of the plate, but I don't feel it in the left.

Good foot support and comfort. Only complaint is that I got a blister on my heel after the first day.

Little tight in the front, not as snappy as advertised. Love the support.

Solid running shoe. Great cushion, zero break-in time. For my tastes, it's a bit "soft" (negotiating an average sidewalk corner feels like a gamble), but overall, a solid, high-quality product that I've known Saucony for over the last 15 years of near-daily running.

Comfortable once they finally break in. They did seem to take unusually long to break in though. I thought I had made a mistake purchasing them at about 30 miles, but finally at around 50 miles they loosened up and became very comfortable. I just worry they won't last much longer but aren't showing signs of wear yet. Give these shoes time before planning to use them on a long run.
