I've never worn Saucony before and thought I'd give them a try. After reading up on these I thought they would be perfect. I run a yearly marathon, several halfs, 5ks, 10ks, etc. I was hoping these could be my race day shoes. I will say, the upper is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't wear them anymore after just two casual 3-mile runs. They hurt my legs and are so spongy I am afraid I will sprain an ankle, or worse. Even when walking I can literally see my ankles turn in and then out with every step. It's like walking on a trampoline. There is absolutely no support. And, apparently since I've worn them, I am just out of luck and wasted my money on Saucony. Never again.

The shoes are too narrow and I pronate when run in them. The outer part of the shoe seems to be higher than the inner part of the shoe.

I really like the shoes but they fell apart in less than 15 miles of use

This is my 6th pair of ES in the past year and a half. Needless to say I like this shoe. Something changed with this particular model and the sole crumbled. Worst thing is that it happened and the shoe didn't even have 150 Miles in. Like other reviews have stated, the shoe is not stable and I suspect the unbalanced sole is causing unnecessary movement in the sole they makes it collapse. I'll give these another shot but I'm already looking into other brands.

I was using the shoes for walking long distance averaging anywhere over 7 mile, but my feet and knee was getting sore after my long distance walk. I try different shoes and had no issues. So for me the shoes was uncomfortable to walk for long distance.

I ordered kivara 13, freedom 4 and endorphin speed 2. I think theses are the best kinvara since the 8. Freedom was a little wide but still worth the money. Endorphin my recommended size 12.5. Seems like narrow toe box and missing cushion on great toe. Actually got a blister. And their seems to be no cushion. Perhaps I did not read the reviews. I am overseas in military and plus u cannot return shoes that have been worn outside. So I will use the shoe as a daily recovery shoe or walking around in my job since I wear scrubs at work

Makes too much noise. Need to return. Could not wear. A bit of a slim fit as well. Not comfortable.

I was all excited to get the Shift 2 and the looks are Beautiful, but they put this added material re-enforcement on the upper and it rubs my little toes raw on the corners, They ruined a Great shoe! The stitching and re-enforcement does not have any give, to thick...
I've had 4 pairs of the Original Shift and Loved them! Perfect Fit, Upper had stretchable mesh. Does Saucony even test there products? or ask us Runners what we like and what works?

These shoes were uncomfortable from the second I put them on my feet. They honestly felt like they were factory defects, my ankles were twisting every time I took a step. Zero arch support, I tried to add insoles and that BARELY helped. Also the picture is not accurate - the section that is a lighter color on the bottom of the show is almost two inches thick, it looks like a geriatric shoe.

Way too unstable for me. Couldn't even walk in them without snapping an ankle. Not sure why they are considered an all around shoe. Can't walk in them, run downhill, or do track work. I returned them asap.

Sadly these shoes are giving me ankle and knee pain for the first time as a runner. There is too much elevation and a lot of cushion. I was looking for a more neutral shoe and this was not the right fit/recommendation for me. If you're wanting to feel the road at all, this shoe is not going to give you that. Very disappointed that my running has been set back by these.

I bought these 2 months ago. I have 7 marathons 12 half marathons and numerous 5 and 10 Ks. Saucony has always been my go to shoes
for training and racing shoes. I have fallen maybe 2 times in the past 6 years. I fell the after second time I wore them and got pretty bang up. I shook it off. Little did I know I would fall again within the next 4 weeks. I ran a few more times and decided to run my half marathon in them. It was my worst running mistake ever. It ended up throwing off my form causing me to lean too far forward and the return energy from the shoe only exasperated the situation. I ended up with a really bad fall early in the race. I could not even walk vertically without the lean. It got so bad by mile 8 , I was ready to run the race barefoot. Fortunately one of my coaches switched shoes with me so I could finish the race. I have had numerous training and racing running shoes and these are by far the worst ones yet

Have heard nothing but wonderful things about this model but only 150 very easy miles in and the foam of the outsole is deteriorating dramatically, to the point where I'll no longer be able to use the shoe. I've run in models from every major brand but I've never encountered a shoe that wore down so completely, even at much higher mileage. Very disappointing overall.

The speed 1 was amazing. But when I ordered my speed 2 it was too short and too narrow. I was extremely disappointed.

Bought my pair about 2 months ago after having run in the Endorphin Pro for the last year. I've run about 150 miles in them. These shoes fit about 1/2 size small, and I have immobilizing foot pain when going on longer runs (over 6 miles). Initially I thought I was tying them too tight or something because I had so much success with the Endorphin Pros. I even switched back to my old shoes to see if the pain was present with them, it wasn't. I'm not sure what exactly the issue is, but I've never had this problem with any other shoes from Saucony.

I'm a big fan of the previous Endorphin speed 1 and all Kinvara models, but this Speed 2 is causing massive underfoot pain/plantar fasciitis. Tried different lacing techniques but binned the shoes after my running partner started getting the same issues. I suspect the new upper is compressing in a different way or maybe the plate has been changed after all?
