The good: Fit and comfort are great. Shoe is very light. The rollover effect of the Pwrrun PB sole is noticeable as soon as you wear them. The bad: they are not very "stable" at a medium pace (let's say less than 7:00 min/mi) and on an uneven ground. This is a neutral shoe with not support and if you are an overpronator it will accentuate the inward rolling of your foot. For this reason, after a couple of medium/ long test runs I decided that it was best for me to return them thus avoiding any possible injury. But if you do not have any inward rolling issue, this is a great shoe.

I wear 2E in almost everything, and was a bit worried because I had read that these fit narrowly in the forefoot. But they actually work fine for my wide-ish feet, and are plenty comfortable even for long runs. They're terrific running shoes -- fast, light, responsive, and durable. These are certainly my favorite running shoes ever for running fast. I also like the heel fit in this 2nd edition a little better than that in the first version. They're not ideal for easy runs, but I use the Triumphs for those, which works out well as a rotation. Although the Speed 2s are comfortable enough and work great, in an ideal world, I would still appreciate a somewhat wider forefoot and a bit more stability. I understand those are coming in the next edition, so great work listening to reviews and customer feedback to optimize your shoes, Saucony!

This is my first foray into energy return shoes. I'm still assessing. I choose a shoe primarily based on comfort and stability.... I want that slipper feel. Also, in full disclosure, I place a full-length Spenco-like athletic arch support in-sole ON TOP of the in-sole the shoe came with. I know weird, but I've been running for 5 decades w/o any major injury (I'm knocking on wood). These shoes are super comfortable and lightweight, feel stable, and I can't wait to race in them.

I was excited for the speed 2, but sadly the let me down. There where a lot of positives about it but the flaw of blisters was just to much.

I've been running with a pair of Nike free runs since I can remember. After every run I always have shin splints. With the endorphin speed 2 no shin splints my legs feel fresh and ready for another run;I love these shoes.

Purchased for my husband. Last Saucony pair was purchased in 2009 and can still be worn in 2021. However, I thought a new pair would be nice for him. Alas, his style was discontinued. Saucony Brand is fantastic until now. This shoe Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 looks great, but runs very narrow. Husband wears a size 9 Medium and struggled to wedge his foot in. Back they go. I think Sneaker companies are overthinking a great sneaker. Too many bells and whistles, not just Saucony, Nike also! Please, just bring us a light weight old school running sneaker.

Love the ES2. My third pair. I am a slow runner and these make me feel faster. Soft springy feel. Fits TTS in my size 12.5. I am in my sixties and 20-25 miles a week.

These shoes were unstoppable. I usually only 300 miles per pair, but the ware was so minimal I added another 50, and their was still plenty left for donatable shoe.

I bought them 2 years ago. And they've been perfect. I ran more than 3000km in them without any complain. The cushioning and the stability of the sole was great allowing me to run between 4:45m/km and 3:50m/km. The only reason that I ditched them is for a new pair because they did more than their time!

Great shoe for tempo, track sessions and long runs with some race pace. I've had great sessions for 200's at the track with this shoe. This shoe also made my last big long run before the Boston marathon feel effortless towards 22 mile run with race pace. I wouldn't really suggest this shoe for easy runs.

Amazing shoe! Bought this for tempo runs and as a "race day" show (I am not fast at all). The weight is great, along with some pop from the nylon plate. Finished my 5k faster than I expected with this shoe on.

How any one can rate this shoe less than 5 stars is crazy. One of the best trainers they have put together with the new technology.

I purchased this shoe after running for years with another very popular brand. I been suffering from hip pain with my last shoes and had a terrible race in January. I had seen runners wearing the Endorphin series shoes at races and decided to give them a try. All my runs ever since have been pain free and actually I am running faster than before. I am very happy about my choice switching to Saucony. I have a race coming up in a few months overseas and can't wait to see the results of my training in a PB.
