they have been a little harder to break in. I'm currently wearing an ankle brace and waiting for new orthonic inserts. I'm guessing this is part of the problem trying to break them in. The soles feel like hiking boots, give your foot good support on different surfaces. Good fit.

Comfortable and great for work

Really comfortable! I sized up by 1 size (since I occasionally wear an ankle brace and like to pad on hikes with thicker socks). These are great. They really wrap my ankle and foot nicely. The top is soft also. I wish the laces were a bit thicker but if that's all it's fixable with new laces and so minor compared to the comfort quality of the shoe.

Shoes were very light and extremely comfortable. Would order them again.

2nd pair I've ordered of this particular style and Asics has the best value for your buck! I'm a believer in "you are who you make yourself out to be". Asics makes themselves out to be the best in running and cross training shoes. Thanks Zappos for getting me these shoes to my house in less than 24 hours. This is a true story and for anyone that might be thinking but hasn't quite thought it threw stop thinking and get you some value for yourself, family, and or maybe a friend!

Only just got these, so r still a bit stiff as far as brand new ones go. The right is lil tight near toe. But that’s my dominant side so could be fraction bigger. Really like the ‘ankle ‘support’, it’s a nice touch and look. I don’t really feel much arch support, and I’ve added shock support/gels bc I run on concrete mostly. The price is decent as well, if I can get them at that next spring I’ll be getting for my daughters pe classes.

Husband said they fit fine and were comfortable to wear while on his feet all day when standing. Stated his feet didn't hurt anymore since wearing them. They aren't "attractive" shoes but functional and comfortable.

I rated these shoes five stars yet I am returning them. Why? They are pretty shoes but they have a low arch support for what I need. So someone else they will be a perfect shoe but my left foot needs more support. That's why I am returning these shoes.

Great fit, very comfortable cushioning, high top padding was comfortable and left no sore spots that I typically get with that type of design. Very stable across uneven ground, including rocks and sand. Temperature was in the 90s, feet stayed cool as the boots are well ventilated. Highly recommended.

These shoes were a great find. I have long searched for a pair of sneakers that provide both arch and ankle support without looking like an orthopedic shoe.
