Great looking sneaker, sadly I have to return them though as they are too narrow for my flat feet.

I love BROOKS! However?.this specific style I?m not too sure about. I?ve never had knee pain, yet for some reason I have started to have some after wearing these shoes. It could be caused from other things like increased miles or lack of cross training but those have been factors before for me. These shoes do not se very forgiving while running but at the same time I will not say I hate them. The fit is great, love the style and overall seem to be alright. Just not sure if the knee pain is from the shoe or not?

Bought Levitate style because Pure Cadence style no longer available. Levitate does not feel as energizing as the PC style did and they are a little wide for my feet.

Brooks Levitate 5 is a good everyday shoe for walking long distances and running. The shoe is comfortable, and the fit is the same as other pairs of Brooks that I have owned. I wear an 11 in most shoes, but I always order an 11.5 in Brooks. I prefer the Levitate 5 to my Brooks Levitate 4 running shoe, but my favorite of the Levitate line was the Levitate 2. The insole of the 5 is firmer (maybe thinner?) than the Levitate 2. As a college student, these shoes work well for long days on campus. I have worn them for indoor rock wall climbing and for light gym workouts. The shoes are easy to put on, and stay secure on my feet. Overall, this is a very solid shoe that gives above average support.

Loved the shape and look of the Brooks Levitate, but enjoy a bit
more cushioning for support. This is a great sturdy shoe that will last
lots of miles though!

It?s an okay shoe. Feels heavy so probably won?t use for long runs. Does seem to be made well

Love the shoes. It my 2nd pair of Levite My first pair was the no tie. Trying in they felt amazing but after wearing I realized I needed to size up. I thought it was something about the no tie but it?s not. So strange because I wear 8 1/2 in all other Brooks

Very attractive looking, and the fit is great. The only downside is that after wearing them for more than 5 hours they really began to hurt my feet. I have always been a fan of Brooks. I have always worn the Ghost line but really wanted to try something new. I think the adrenaline line are better when being worn for short time frames. I think I will stick to the Ghost line of Brooks.

Look good but can?t compare with adrenalines. I have to keep the laces very loose to have blood flow to my toes. Where the laces go is hard unlike adrenalines so it cuts into your foot.

They didn?t work for me. Although they seemed comfortable on my feet, when on the treadmill, my toes were going numb and my ankles start hurting. So as they may fit others, they weren?t for me.

Good shoes but fit smaller. I always order size 8 but had to return for a 8.5. I am happy with these. Light, comfortable but do have a more snug fit in the toe.

I?m sad to say I?m very disappointed in these shoes. I have been a loyal Brooks wearer since I started running 3 years ago. I usually wear the Adrenaline or Glycerins, but I was swayed by the high cushion level these had. I?ve never had a break-in with previous Brooks. These have felt stiff and not cushiony at all, from the start. I have around 50 miles on these so far, and they?re not any more comfortable. I would not buy these again.

I generally order a size 10 1/2 medium width. This was the first time I ordered this style. Very narrow in the toe box and runs to short in the size. Seems like a nice sneaker but not for me I afraid.

I'm going to have to return these shoes. They are too narrow for me. I usually get the adrenaline 8.5 and I have never had a problem. These I could hardly lace up.

I loved my last pair of Brooks which was my first pair and a different version. These fit differently and not as supportive. I wouldn?t buy these same sneakers again but would buy Brooks.

I like the looks but this felt way more narrow than any other Brooks I’ve owned.

I thought they looked cool, but I bought them for my 17-year-old xc runner who said they were "too springy" and "too heavy".

I was looking for a running shoe that would help me with my speed. When this shoe arrived I was so excited. I tried them on and they felt amazing on my feet. Within 3 wears they felt like they stretched out, across the top of my feet. I tightened the laces but my feet felt floppy in them. In turn caused me to over exert my feet trying to keep them in place inside the shoes. My feet really hurt, so I have decided to return them.

While I am in no way a runner, I did own the Levitate 4. When comparing the 4 and the 5 I fine that I'm partial to the 4. The sole of the 5 is a lot firmer than the 4. The sole of the 5 when walking caused a soreness to the bottom of my foot. I don't like spongy type soles but I don't like extreme fimness. I would prefer the 4 when compared to the Levitate 5.

I ran in Levitate 2, 3 and 4 and had a great experience with each of these shoes. I switched to ghost back in the fall simply because I was given a free pair, so I ran in a couple of pairs of these and enjoyed them. I decided to try Levitates again with the 5s out, but sadly was disappointed. I have a neutral foot and typically wear a 9-9.5 in running shoes with a standard width. I ordered a 9.5 in these and unfortunately they were way too narrow for my foot. I had to run with the laces super loose and still felt like I was developing plantar fasciitis even on just a short run. I gave it a few tries to break them in but my feet kept feeling unhappy. I switched back to Ghost and was immediately pleased! I love the style of the Levitates and do feel like they give you more energy return than the Ghost, but I don't think my foot likes them as much. I'm not sure if they actually are more narrow than the old versions or just have more arch support. I'll be having to send them back but if you have a more narrow foot, these could work for you!

I love the support of this shoe. However, the toe box is too narrow for my wide feet and hurt my little toes. Had to return. Why doesn't Brooks make wide widths in their new styles??

They look great, are well-made but they are much heavier than what I expected. I will have to look for a much lighter shoe with more cloud-type feel for my arches.

I previously have owned Brooks Ghost style, and maybe that's the difference, but I've never owned Levitate. I think the Levitate is a decent shoe, but I'm not sold on the value. I usually wear a size 8 shoe, so I buy up a half size to accommodate when I am walking. I noticed after a couple weeks the difference between the previous Ghost model. The area for the toes is much narrower. I started getting pain and swelling in the toes after walking, and my feet are tired and sore, not pain free anymore. Very disappointing.
