The Brooks Levitate GTS 5 with support was a new shoe for me. I have the Black/Grey/White and love the color and style. I wear a size 10 medium and found the GTS energize support to be very comfortable. Due to the Guiderails, I did find that these shoes are a little heavier than my normal Brooks Ghost. It's not a lot heavier but even a little bit of heft makes a difference when you're moving and so that did make the shoes a little less enjoyable for me to workout with. Walking with the amount of support that the Levitate 5 GTS gives was very comfortable. The levitate does have a lot of stretch in it and is very comfortable the first time you put it on. It was a little longer in the front, I had more room in the toe box than I normally due with Brooks but this didn't effect my movement at all. I would still like to see Brooks give us longer laces - the laces on this shoe just are not long enough to get a good double knot. While this is mostly a cosmetic issue, I do hate to have to stop to re-tie my shoe laces all the time.

After having owned several styles of Brooks running shoes, I had settled into the comfort of their Ghost. When I decided to try the Brooks Levitate GTS 5 I was a little nervous. However, after walking several miles and going on a few short runs, I am pleasantly surprised. The Levitate not only offered the cushion and support that I value in a shoe, but the lightweight upper material allowed for extra flexibility. The guide rail feature did seem to improve my stride, keeping me feeling confident even on uneven terrain. The extra spring helped push me to achieve my desired pace and made it easy to maintain throughout my run. I would highly recommend the Levitate GTS 5 to anyone looking to pick up their pace! True fit? I have an average size 7 foot, the size 7 medium width fits perfectly. True width? Medium width felt snug without being restrictive. Slightly narrow in the toe box. Low, average or great support? Great support, wore these shoes for walking, running and 12-hour workday (standing) NO COMPLAINTS!

My wife and I both received Brooks Levitate 5 last week. hers was in a size 8 and mine in a mens size 12. At first glance I didn't think I would like these sneakers because they have a built-in sock. However after wearing them to the gym I quickly fell in love with them. I like the way it fits around my foot very snug but not so tight it's causing pressure. They are comfortable to wear nicely cushioned for a heel strike and the arch is very supportive. The only negative I have on these shoes is they were a little slick out of the box but after wearing them a few days they seem to have better traction. Also there was not much cushion on the ball of your feet. THis is based on the stair stepper. Style gets 5 stars for lots of compliments at the gym They look big but they fit true to size. I would definitely purchase these shoes. I like the way they fit on my feet.

I am definitely a Ghost lover!! I figured I would try these because it seems like every time you find a great shoe, they get discontinued. I am definitely not a fan of these. I work in the medical field and I am on my feet all day. The first few days I went home and my legs felt awful. I thought I would give them another shot to get some wear on them. I have had them for 2 weeks now and I have been switching back and forth from these and my old ghost 11s, and well unfortunately, I am back to wearing my old ones again. I have purchased another pair of Ghosts so hopefully I will get some relief. Not a fan of these :(
