I purchased the ghost 12 couple years ago. They are so comfortable. So I thought when I purchased a ghost 14 that they?d be the same comfort, but they are it doesn?t support my art as well.

I have worn Brooks for 30 years. For some reason every style I try now is too big (length). This is recent because I have several pair in the closet that are 1-2 years old.

I wore womens Ghost 9 & 13. The 13 were great even though I bought too large a size. Ghost 13 was really comfortable. I recently ordered Ghost 14, on sale. They are stiff. The end of tongue is stiff it digs into my ankle. I have skinny ankles & my feet don't have much padding, even though normal width. I may have to return & try the 15.

Not too good. The size 7W was too narrow. I was so disappointed. I have started a return on them. If they were wider I'd buy them. Thank you Judith K Lanahan

Compared to my Ghost 13's I Knew as soon as I put them on they had to go back. Toe box was narrower, size was smaller and my arch immediately was screaming! Returned, not sure if I will try the 15's or not!

Way different than the Ghost 13. I didn't like this shoe. It puts a strain on my shins. I can't wear them all day.

I typically like the Ricochet or Levitate for running. This is my first pair of Ghost. Unfortunately, I felt they were too wide in the front and my foot was moving around a lot. Won't be buying the Ghost again.

I have a medium arch, slight supination and work 12.5 hour shifts. I walk anywhere from 8-11 miles per shift. I bought these and wore them 2 nights in a row to work - it took over a week for me to recover from the soreness my low back and hips experienced. I am a younger nurse with no health issues and had heard good things about Brookes. Perhaps they would be good for quick runs, or shorter time in the shoes but I would absolutely not recommend them for being on your feet for more than a few hours at a time

Did something change drastically on the 14? I have an old pair of 13s and I never had any issues with pain during or after running. I have been running in my 14s for 5 months now and have been dealing with back issues almost the entire time. It didn't even occur to me it might be the shoes, until I switched back to my 13s and another pair and the issues I've been dealing with are gone. The 14s seem smaller for my normal size and stiffer in both the toe and on the balls of my feet. I can feel ridges in the insole on one of the shoes and it is rather uncomfortable, so much so that I would cease running at times. Ghosts have been great shoes; I wouldn't recommend the 14s though. I'm hoping the 15s are better.

Very hard on feet; also shoelaces too short, had to buy longer laces to even try the shoe on

Sadly I've given up on Brooks. Seems like the quality isn't the same. The last pair of Ghost I had were the 13s and the were perfect and the ones before them. Tried the 14 in multiple sizes and they were just horrible. From being so stiff to having such a narrow toe box. My feet were in pain. Scared to even try the 15.

what happened? I have worn Ghost for a few years now and recently noticed changes that I believe are more for cost cutting measures than for the runner. I compared the laces in the 14 to an old pair I keep around. The laces are 4 or 5 inches shorter. I have a high arch/instep and this makes a difference also the tip of the lace is less covered than the old pair. The shoe has always been light there just an overall difference that just doesn't make it my go to shoe any longer.

I am debating if I should return these shoes. I have experienced pain on the side of my foot down from my little toe. I cannot stay in these sneakers for more than 5 hours. I feel I may need a more supportive running shoe.

Brooks sneakers have always been my go to for fitness and I have never been disappointed until now. My last purchase was the Ghost 14 and this is where my disappointment began. The,, se shoes are so light, thin and cheaply made. Very little Cushing, however feel better once I placed inserts in. The bottom is so thin, doesn't appear they are going to last for very long. Haven't worn them outside, just inside the home. Not a runner, walk a lot, but don't think the bottom will hold up. Have a pair of Levitate 2 been wearing for 4 years and they are still holding their own. Needed a new pair of walking shoes. Ghost 14 are not longevity quality and durability is not there. Brooks please make quality shoes like you did before. Bring the original Levitate 2 back

This would be a great purchase if I actually received 2 shoes. I opened the box and there was only one shoe inside. Will return and try again...

I have never owned a pair of Brooks that hurt my foot. This is my fifth pair of Brooks and first to hurt my feet. I'm a nurse and need really supportive shoes for 12 hour shifts. If I can get a refund I will do that.

I really wanted to keep these Brooks. I ordered my normal 9.5 and they were too short (my toe hit the front of the shoe) then I ordered the 10. Using my orthotic it was better but still had heel slippage. As another customer commented the 13's are a much better, true to size fit.

I really liked the Ghost 13, but when trying out the 14, the tongue started digging into the top of my foot. The overall quality of the fabric seems diminished as well. So glad I didn’t take these running; I would have been limping back.
