I love the Ghost 14 because it is lighter on my feet and has good arch support. I have two pair and the laces are impossible to keep tied, even when double knotted.

I must say that I have worn Brooks for years because I am a runner with narrow feet and these are a great fit. I recently purchased the Ghost and really love the fit. But Brooks has changed their shoe laces. The new ones are AWFUL. They will not stay tied unless you double knot them. You can only walk a few steps before they are untied. I had to purchase new laces for my sneakers. I am guessing that Brooks went for cutting corners by using cheap laces.

I?ve been running in Ghost for the past few years and really love the overall comfort. Ghost 14 has the same comfort except the tongue is very stiff, I?m unable to get it to soften up and rubs sores if I don?t wear a bandaid or thick cloth to cover the area. I?m not sure why the tongue design is so different but this is why I?m giving it a 4 star instead of 5 star.

Everything was good except for the width. I have ordered a half size larger to see if that corrects the issue.

I have owned many pair of Ghost running shoes. They have always been great and I love them. My recent purchase of two pair are also exceptional . But they have changed the shoelaces and they are terrible. Shoelaces will not stay tied without double knotting them. Shame on you Brooks!!

What I love about the Ghost is that you know what you're getting. Year after year, it's the same, reliable daily trainer, with maybe a few tweaks. V14 is a little softer, and more comfortable out of the box than V13. It's cushioned, but not squishy. There was no real break-in period needed, nor does it seem to be breaking down (though mine still have low miles on them). The tread is solid for a road shoe - I've navigated some ice and slush just fine. The Ghost isn't as sexy as some of the newer models: there's no rocker plate or real "spring" to them. The colorways are fine, but not exciting. But, it's a dependable, all purpose daily trainer and priced fairly for what it is. I'll happily use it for roads and non-technical trails for distances up to 10-13 miles.

I loved the Ghost 13's so I figured I'd "upgrade" to the 14's. I am happy with the 14 overall, but it does have a tighter fit in the front and the laces seem really short - is that just me?

For many, many years I ran in the Ravenna models or the regular Launch, but I liked the Ravenna more for everyday runs. When those were sadly discontinued I tried the Launch GTS because those are allegedly the replacement for the Ravenna. Well, they are not. I never liked them and the cushioning wore out quickly. I?m not a heavy runner and I?ve been running recreationally for a long time, but I started developing foot pain whenever I ran in the Launch GTS. I threw the Launch GTS in the trash and had to actually go try on shoes again. It?s sad when a shoe that really works for you is discontinued. I ran in the Ghost about 10 years ago and liked them so these were the first model I tried on. They feel more like the Ravenna than the Launch GTS! I don?t necessarily need a stabilizing shoe so I wasn?t worried about the Ghost being a neutral shoe. After my first run in the Ghost I decided I enjoyed how they felt and the cushioning was better than the Launch GTS even fresh out of the box. I had no foot pain during or after, so I?m happy. I?d be ecstatic if Brooks brought back the Ravenna or modified the Launch GTS to feel more like the Ravenna, but the Ghost model seems good so far. I could always throw super feet in if I wanted a little more arch support. I would recommend these to someone who is looking for a Ravenna replacement and doesn?t need a heavy duty stability shoe. I got the black and teal color scheme and I like how they look, so that?s a bonus. I got my usual size in Brooks shoes. They fit just right.

This is a comfortable running shoe. I?ve worn Brooks Ghosts for several years now. However, the laces on these shoes are ridiculously bad. I have to stop to tie my shoes 15 to 20 times during a run.

Very comfortable. Do not like the slippery laces that keep coming undone and tripping me at times.

Super cute shoe! However, the toe box is wide and just didn't fit well. I would suggest sizing a half size down.

Love these shoes! I have a wide foot and typically wear a 10W. These have a wide enough toe box that I could size up to an 11 and comfortably wear the regular width. They did take about a week to fully break in, but were still comfortable right out of the box.

I love Brooks shoes. However, like most athletic shoes, the insoles on these compress after a few wearings and need to be replaced. Once I remove the existing insoles and drop in new Viva Sport insoles I am good for another 6 months, hopefully avoiding my impending knee replacement.

I ordered Ghost 13s and 14s, both in 2A Narrow, at the same time. The 13s fit perfectly and have just the right amount of toe box space, even though I require the narrow width overall. However, the 14s -- at least in the narrow form factor, are super tight in the toe box. I will try the Medium to see if they'll be sufficiently Narrow with a bit more room around the toes. I'm hopeful as Brooks are far more comfortable in the cushioning than Asics and have a great option for narrow feet!
Incidently, I. Returning to Brooks after several pairs of On-Running shoes. Theyve become too "hard" in the midfoot and missed Brooks' Wonder cushioned footfall.

The shoe just didn't feel right on my wife's feet. Thanks for the opportunity to try them.
The other pair is working out fine.

I really like this shoe. I usually buy Adrenaline GTS and my latest pair is the GTS 21. I have arthritis in my big toe and I was struggling with the way the seam for the tongue was rubbing on my toe. So I decided to give the Ghost 14 a shot. It's much more comfortable in the toe area. I did order a wide width, but they don't seem very wide. Maybe they need to stretch. They look great and are comfortable. I am debating if I should put my arch support insoles in these. They seem to have a fairly decent arch support.

I love my Brooks Ghosts, but the 14s have some shoelace issues! They come untied all day and it drives me nuts! I probably should buy some different laces.

I have other ghost 14 shoes but for some reason this one does not feel like it has the cushioning as the other ones. I’m guessing it’s because it’s a limited pattern/design.

Great shoe overall. Good support for my feet during my workout classes. I really think they have been helped me with working on a concrete floor. I don't come home aching allover.
