I love my Brooks shoes. They fit perfect from the minute I put them on brand new and every time I wear them! They never fail me!

The Ghost running shoe has been my go-to shoe for many years and I was looking forward to the new Ghost 14; however, after ordering my regular size, they didn't seem to fit as comfortably as my 13's. The toe box seemed shorter or narrower and my large toe was touching the side, so I returned them.

After owning a few pairs of Adrenaline, I decided to switch to the Ghost. I have plantar fasciitis and a fallen arch, so great shoes are a must. The arch support seems fine so far, although I always have to switch out insoles. I was hoping they would be more cushioned than my previous Brooks, but I honestly can't tell much of a difference in the feel. I can't say they completely relieve my heel pain, but Brooks help more than any other brand I have tried. I am one of those people who need the higher heel drop (12 mm) that is hard to find in other brands. For my next pair, I will try for a more cushioned model.

I have been wearing Brooks Ghost for a number of years and love them. I will continue to wear them. Comfy, good support. I wear them for speed walking (10 mile route) and casual pace. I absolutely hate the flat shoelaces on 14s. They come untied and I cannot tighten them as easily. Bring back normal laces. Also my last pair, may have been Brooks 12, possibly 13, the rubber heel came unglued from the shoe at about 350 miles. I keep track of mileage. All my other pairs had no issues. I like that they are snug in heel, roomy in toe.

I wasn't thrilled by the fit of the Ghost 14. It didn't feel like enough support under the ball of my foot. I've had Glycerins twice before and now find them too squishy for treadmill running. I thought the Ghost would be the perfect slight step down in squish, but it was too big of a step for me.

I wish they had a little more cushion but other than that, they are wonderful and light and very stylish.

I like the shoes, but they?re not ones to wear when having to stand a lot. When I?m walking around they are fine, but if I stop and stand for more then 20 minutes my feet and hips start to hurt. I have not ran in them, just used them for everyday use.

I love, love the Ghost! Perfect cushioned trainer with lots of mileage life. The only reason I didn?t give 5 stars is because of the laces. They frequently come untied because of a new flat design.

I have worn this shoe for years, but the new shoe seems to have a change in the tongue. It's something about the way its sewn or something that makes it hard to adjust without rubbing the top of my foot and still having a snug fit. Otherwise, it's a great shoe.

I have always loved Brooks Ghost running shoes. I have wide feet and they give me plenty of room. The only thing I am not a fan of are the new laces. They are shorter and if I don?t double tie them, they untie easily.

Live the color and the look. I have short kind of wide feet with a really high arch. The length was good but no arch support and tight toe box.

The arch support is good, but the balls of my feet are feeling like there's less support there than on previous designs.

The size seemed ok but toe box seemed a little less roomy for my feet. Shipping was fast and I received excellent service from Zappos very helpful staff. Will definitely continue doing business with Zappos.

I was hoping these would help my plantar fasciitis but they didn't seem to make a difference.

I?ve been addicted to the Ghost for a couple of years now. They always fit right away?I don?t need to break them in. I have rheumatoid arthritis and consequently achey feet sometimes. These are the solution. I ran 6.7 miles today in a brand new pair of 14?s and they felt AMAZING! I took one star off the review because I?m noticing the 14?s wear out much faster than the 13?s did. The tread on the 13?s I kept is still fine. Honesty, the heel rubbed a hole and the sides got holes but the tread lasted. With the 14?s I?m finding I need to replace every 2 months, which is kind of hard on my teacher budget. I?m hoping future models improve durability.

Love my ghost 14. Very comfortable for work and walking after work. I stand all day at work and Brooks ghost 14 gives me the support I need.

I have previously had the Ghost 13 shoes and absolutely loved them!! I was hesitant on ordering shoes, but went ahead because it's so hard to find my size plus in a wide width. I like them, but they are not as comfortable as the 13's. The front on top is not as flexible. Hopefully they will continue to break in.

The laces are too short and do not stay tied . The shoe looks great and is comfortable. A running shoe with faulty laces is frustrating and counter productive

I really like Brooks, but the Ghost 14 and the other styles have started putting thick harder tongues, so they are really uncomfortable. I had to return them.

Overall a good show, they don't hold up as well as previous versions. Shoelaces are too slippery, will not stay tied without multiple knots. Please make the cool design in wide!!

I bought these shoes to be able to walk at Disney World for a week. We walked about 6 miles a day at each park. My feet never hurt until the end of the third day. Usually I am crying by the second day. I deal with plantar fasciitis and neuromas in my feet that make it painful to walk long distances. I will continue to by these shoes from now on. I am a costumer for life!

Toe box is a bit narrower than the Ghost 13. Shoestrings are not the stretchy type as the 13 had, and aren't long enough.

I liked the Brooks Ghost I had previously so, I just upgraded when I needed a new pair. I love purple so, these were a win-win. They fit well. No real "break-in" time required. Slight irritation on my left pinky toe but, it could be the socks I had on that day. Overall, happy with my purchase and plan to use them in a marathon next week.
