I don't run. I'm overweight and middle aged and need to wear supportive shoes from the minute I get up until I crawl into bed. Previously I have had amazing relief from back, knees, and sciatic pain with the Glycerine 17's. The new glycerine's aren't the same, I've tried them and returned them . Have been trying to find the next best thing. These are "okay." They don't feel as supportive as I need and a little roomier in the heel than I like, but at the rate I wear out my shoes, I'll make do and try a different model next time.

Love these shoes, very comfortable. But please, please go back to the Glycerin laces. These ones suck, they come untied in the middle of my run no matter how I tie them, and the crossed lace loosens over time so the shoe isn't as supportive. Had awful foot cramping in the middle of a workout before I realized this was a problem. I switched them out with my old laces, but come on. We pay good money for these shoes, there's no reason Brooks can't put decent laces on all of them.

I have bought Ghost for years. I have 2 pair of the 13s. I am having trouble with my 14s feeling narrow.I wonder if the design changed?

Shoe is great, would have given 5 stars except that the shoe laces are too short.

I love these shoes! My only complaint and the reason for the 4 instead of 5 rating is the lack of variety and choices for WIDE shoes. All the new, multicolor options are only in REGULAR. As with most all shoe companies, the WIDE options are usually limited to 1-2 options and are very basic. I really appreciate that I can now at least find WIDE shoes, but please give us more options in colors, designs, etc.

Ghost 14 is rated a 4 only because I didn't wear it all day long. They were comfortable and very sharp looking. I felt the extra support but was surprised it was not as much as I had expected as I am recovering from a worn torn arthritic knee but it still is a comfortable shoe at this stage in my recovery.

Slightly narrow in the heel

But I wish you made a narrow in every style. Also, in more colors!! I needed some trail runners and had to buy La Sportiva, the Brooks weren't narrow enough in Medium. More styles AND COLORS! In narrow please! Thanks for making these!!!

I love Brooks Ghost! I would have given my new gear 5 stars but the shoe strings don't stay tied like last years model. First time I've had to double knot my Brooks shoes. Old round style laces stay tied all day. I had 3 pairs and not one day did I have to retie my laces.

The show gives good support. Fits a bit wide. Is light for its size, but sometimes feels a bit clunky and bottom-heavy still. Helps support knees on longer runs. Fares well in consistent gym usage.

Very comfortable. Light. Nice colors! Wish the sole had more grip since I?m used to a cross trainer shoe.

I love Brooks shoes. One thing I noticed, and it could be my foot, the cushion on the left shoe arch feels different than the right shoe. The laces are much too short to tie a good bow that will stay put. Having to re-tie them often.

I love the bounce these shoes give to my speed walk. Unfortunately, the shoebox is not wide enough for my big foot. I also had trouble with rubbing behind the heel. I will be returning to my ricochets next time.

I love them! Supportive and comfortable. I used them on my nightly walks and they are perfect for the job.

Light, good arch support and overall support structurally. That?s is what I was looking for in a running shoe. I took one star off because I wish there was a bit more cushioning in the footbed.

Love brooks. I will say that after wearing this pair for only a week the left shoe heel squished down more than it should. Almost like it?s already worn down. Didn?t have the boxing to send them back. But normally best show to keep plantar fasciitis away. I did 1/2 size up on these.

The ghost 14 is very different than the 13. The end of the shoe , the toe box area is very firm and it bothers my big toe , which makes the shoe uncomfortable for me to wear.
