I don?t have the previous year of this shoe to compare with. But so far, my feet are running happy each time. This shoe is also my go-to for work as a Nurse.

Only shoes I can walk in --- I mean only. I have a torn posterior tibialis tendon and these are the only shoes that don't cause me to want to crawl on my hands and knees.

I shattered my ankle in January. Screws plates on both sides of ankle and one screw running from the front to back. I could barley make it through the day walking up to 6,000 steps without pain and limping by the end of the day. Enter ghost 14. I am now averaging 13-14 THOUSAND steps a day. I even am able to jog short distance in these. These shoes have given me my life back and ability to walk and hopefully soon run again. ??

This is the best Ghost ever. I am a guy who has very small narrow feet. My heel is narrow. My ball is normal to narrow. I have a normal to high arch with a low volume instep. I have to wear the women's black on black version of the Ghost because my feet are so small. I have been wearing the black on black version of the Ghost for years. They look very similar to the men's version. This new version 14 has the perfect fit and the shoelaces are the right length for the first time in years. In the previous versions, the shoelaces were always too long and I had to always replace them with shorter laces. Great improvements! I hope Brooks does not change these improvements in future versions. This is the only running shoe I can wear.

I am 45 and I usually run 5K or sometimes 10K. When I first ran with the Ghost 14 I felt much slower. It felt like you are running on cushions and it takes extra effort to pull your foot out. It felt very strange. But... absolutely no knee pain! Now I got used to them, and my knee pain is non existent after runs.
