I have been in desperate need of new athletic shoes. The last comfortable pair I had were the Ghost 12s and the soles were showing their age (the 13's never fit well - maybe they were a tad too wide - something about them just didn't fit well). Along came the 14s and thought I'd give Brooks another try. Thank goodness I did - they fit and fit well from the day I put them on. Great cushioning and how about the styles and the colors?! The ebony/black/purple with the cute animal print. The only negative is as cute as the shoe laces are how I wish they would go back to laces that had such stretch or cushion to them. No matter, I am considering buying a second pair, my feet like them that much. For sizing - in street shoes I wear a 7 or 7.5 and in Brooks an 8 fits well.

I've been a Brooks shoe fan for several years, and have always purchased Ariel, liking the great arch support it provides. My last pair was tight, though, and the heel didn't have the support I expect, so I've been waiting for a newer version to come out. I finally gave up the wait, and ordered Ghost, a half size larger. I'm satisfied with my purchase, although the shoe does not have the great arch support of Ariel. I hope a new Ariel model comes out soon.

I had to get a half size larger but they fit well! I wear these for my retail job where I’m on my feet all day. I also really like the colors on these they’re very vivid and unique! I’ve already got compliments on them! Good overall pair of sneakers for walking/standing.
