This is a lightweight shoe that is comfortable enough to wear all day.

I am not a runner, but I own 3 pair of Ghost 14, each in a different color. Why? Because they are the most comfortable shoes I have owned owned for years for standing long periods of time, walking and running errands. They offer excellent forefoot room for toe spread yet comfortably grip and support the heel. The heel cup and last combination are perfect for me. And...the shoe colors and design patterns are such fun! I am 82 yrs. old and on the go! Will say, however, that at two different times I returned a pair because they each were cut narrower in the toes area than my first pair even though they were the same size as the first. As soon as I slipped my foot into each of those, I felt the difference immediately. If you want multiple pairs, be sure to try on both shoes in every pair, even if they look exactly the same on the outside.

The Ghost is by far my favorite Brooks to date! Very comfortable and easy to be on my feet all day. The cushion in this style seems to be the best fit for me. I am on my feet for hours and am in my 60?s working without any stress to my body due to the support of this shoe. I have several pair that I rotate with as I feel it is important to wear a different shoe every day. Also want to let yours customers know they wash well! (Wash once a month in a garment bag). Thank you Brooks for working so hard at comfort for your customer.

I love the fit. The sole has a nice cushion. I wear them to walk 3-4 miles a day. My first pair lasted over a year. I will certainly buy them again.

I have been buying Brooks for myself for years for walking jogging. My daughter is a runner and I just bought her a pair! She loves the light weight and support of these shoes. I hope they never stop making Ghosts! We r in love with them!

I buy these for my wife, and she loves them. She is on her feet all day at work, and these are the only shoes she wants. The comfort and arch support are what she loves about them. She tried other brands before she discovered Brooks, and none of them can compare.

Considering these are the third pair I've purchased, I'd say these are definitely the pair I'm most comfortable keeping in a rotation of my daily needs. I'm not a tiny person, and yet these shoes make me feel like I'm light on my feet. I don't feel that they are ones that make my feet hurt, and the heels are very supportive for someone just starting to learn how to mid-stride instead of heel strike. Definitely worth the money over and over again.

Awesome shoe for daily sport walking. I swear the shoes fixed an arch problem AND a slight hip problem. The right pair of shoes can do wonders!

Perfect for people with narrow feet. They fit like a dream!
