Overall these were well made and comfortable. My daughter did return as she had had Ghost 12 for years and these felt a bit clunky and heavier than the 12s. We got the Ghost 13 which was better for her as seemed more lightweight and more what she was used to.

Bought the Brooks Ghost 14 for a walking/hiking trail shoe. A 1/2 size larger fit me best. It seems to run a half size smaller than other brands. I also needed an insole for my higher arch. The Gore Tex worked great during heavy rains. Love them!

I have been a fan of the Ghost for some time, found them to be comfortable and supportive. As British winters are rather wet, I thought I would get a pair of these with the Gore tex they would keep my feet dry. These fit more snuggly than the regular Ghosts from the start, despite me getting the same size. I figured they would soften up. Not the case. I found they always put pressure on my big toes and indeed, running downhill in them was not comfortable at all. I was constantly having to readjust my toes. I really wanted to love these shoes, but unfortunately they weren't for me.

Super cute shoes and felt very comfortable but they run small. I would go half a size up at least

First Brooks I tried. Runs 1.5 - 2 sizes small (not sure if just this shoe or standard for Brooks, this is only pair I ordered). Barely any cushion. GTX might be best feature. Considering the trouble to return... not worth even the sale price.

Being a true loyal to brooks running shoes person I found this pair to be just so-so. Not as comfortable as my others and the laces just will not stay tied. A little disappointed and may consider returning.

it is not nearly as comfortable to wear as the Ghost 12 or 13. It feels like the heel as been raised

I?m a nurse. These run small apparently. They hurt my feet. I need to return them, but I haven?t yet.

I usually buy the regular Brooks Ghost, but figured these wouldn't be much different. But they are. The sole is not as soft, the shoe feels stiff, the laces are super short and come undone every time unless I double knot them.

I love the color but the shoe feels cheap and thin. The shoe is too small. I am a size 8 and I even lost 40lbs in the past 12 months. So, there is no reason for my shoe size to change. I have the Ghost 12 and they fit fine. I wore them every day (walk and gym, no running). This version is horrible. I am returning these shoes.

Too tight in 9 1/2. I wear 9 1/2 in Adrenalin. Sharp looking. Gore tex is the reason I bought them. Returned because they didn't fit.

I?ve ordered these shoes a few times and I loved them but most recently they seem to fit smaller and the laces are super short. I normally wear a size 10 and my other size 10 brooks fit just fine still but with this new pair there is no wiggle room.

It runs really small. Since I was using mail order and I tried 2 different sizes ( I wear Brooks shoes every day and sizing is usually very consistent), I gave up. To be fair, I didn't get a chance to wear them, so I don't have an opinion on that

Like that they're water resistant but the sole is starting to come off the toe. Not sure if I'd pay this much again for shoes that have only been worn a couple weeks to be falling apart. Only wear them in the hospital for work.

I have been a Ghost wearer for many years. I preferred the Ghost 12s and 13s to the 14. As far as the Ghost 14 GTX is concerned, it is good in terms of it keeping my feet dry but the shoelaces are terrible and kept coming undone while I was running, leaving me no choice but to double knot them to keep them secure. For the amount of money that this shoe costs, the shoelaces should not keep coming undone. As far as cushioning and support, it is a good shoe, but again, I liked the 12s and 13s better.

These are well fitting shoes I wear for power walking. I ordered these because they have the Gortex feature, which is a necessity for Pacific Northwest outdoor rainy days. What is disappointing is the tread. One would think that a water-resistant shoe would have good traction on wet pavement. My experience is slight slippage, especially when waking fast. Additionally, the shoelaces are not those nice stretchy types that I've had on other Brooks shoes, and they are slightly shorter than desirable.

These shoes are not as comfortable as my Glycerin tennis shoes. My Glycerins (through the years I have worn them) feel so comfortable from the moment I put them on. These Ghost shoes feell as though there is no cushioning in the sole. I bought them for the water-proof feature, thinking they would be as comfortable as my Glycerins.

I wanted these shoes for walking here in the PNW, what with all of the rain here. Unfortunately I didn't get to test them out too much as they were much more snug on me than the regular Ghost 14's. They might be good if I size up, as I liked the overall feel and support

The waterproofing really works - I came in soaked to the bone, and my feet were dry! Love the Ghosts, but they seem not to last as long as they used to. This pair lasted three months, my last pair lasted nearly a year. I hope it was just a substandard pair! I also hate the laces; it bugs me to spend so much for a shoe and then need to purchase laces that don't come untied even when using in a double knot!

This is a completely different shoe than the regular Ghost 14. It?s stiffer and fits smaller and the cushion can?t compare. But?they?re waterproof so I?m keeping them.

Run somewhat small.. I?ve found the sizing of different styles of Brooks vary heavily in sizing. Also the laces will NOT STAY TIED!

My feet really love these shoes. The Gore-Tex is great, kept my feet dry during a hailstorm at the beach and on a stormy bike ride. My only complaint is that the material at the upper inside heel and collar area around the ankle started to break down within two months of purchase, which is disappointing, given the price.
