After several adventures in the rain and a few walks in snow, I found this shoe to be very waterproof! It is also warm and great for winter, yet I didn't feel overheated. Unfortunately, the shoe is incredibly narrow compared to previous editions of Ghost (without Gortex). That used to be the thing that was so great about Brooks....that you actually had room in the toe box. Not this time. It was severely tight and narrow across my entire foot. Boo. And the laces were so short I had to purchase new longer ones, which was a bummer. Overall, if you have a relatively narrow foot, go for this shoe! If your foot is wide, you may want to pass on this one.

These shoes are beautiful - the money is worth the quality of the material and design. One of the nicer shoes I've ever had. Unfortunately, these run PRETTY NARROW. I have wide feet but have been able to wear the MED on Ghost 13 and Adrenaline GTS. These are NOT for wide feet. They hurt my feet quite a bit after being on my feet all day. I took them for a run and they were a bit better, although I did feel some pain in my knee. If they created a wide version, these shoes would be PERFECT. the tongue of the shoe is fused to the shoe itself, so you can't open the laces much.

Not my favorite from brooks and I wear all brooks- they feel very tight on my feet with very little room. Unfortunately, I wore them to work to give them a test run and can?t return them:(

They are extremely tight. I only ever wear 9s, but I'm wishing I'd gone bigger

The shoes have a nice look, but aren?t comfortable. I use to love brooks ghost 10 and 11, but then they changed something about the fit of the ghosts and now they aren?t comfortable at all. Sadly I sent these back.

Extremely hard shoes. I really tried to give them a fair chance. But my feet hurt so much.

Had to return because they were too small. I have always ordered a 6 1/2. I currently own 12 pair of brooks shoes all made in China. This shoe was made in Vietnam. Could this be the reason for the size difference. Very disappointed since I can never find shoes in black in a 6 1/2 size.

The gortex lining makes these shoes far too warm for me in non-freezing temps.

The insole cushioning was not as good as ghost 13 or 14 and the upper outer shoe didnt hold shape, as I work oyutside farmimg was hoping for a better quailty especially for price.

I have a pair of Ghost 13, which feel like they were made for my feet - I LOVE these shoes! - and a pair of Ghost 14 that I LIKE, but do not love. I expected the GTX to be a little stiffer and just a bit more snug, but I did not expect the entire foot bed to feel different. Unlike the Ghost 14, these shoes just do not fit my feet, even when I go up or down half a size. I have returned them and will hope for a better GTX fit in future models.

too tight around my feet but the hill would slip and cause blisters. Hurt my knees. Would like more water proof/ winter options

I bought these because I work outside and need waterproof for walking through wet grass. They are comfortable to wear but my feet and socks were wet soon after wearing these in light rain.

I cannot get these shoes broke in. They absolutely hurt my feet. I've developed plantar fasciitis and it is now work it's way up into my hips. What is the policy for returns?

i liked the shoes but they hurt on the bottom of my feet. was so excited because have heard lots of great things.

Very disappointed in this shoe. It is cushiony but rubber toe piece on right shoe is separating and they are definitely not waterproof for gortex and the price you pay for it. Walked about 90 minutes in damp grass and socks were damp my Columbia shoes were much better as far as waterproofing.

They hurt my feet . And really tight. Not worth the money.

I loved my last set of brooks that fit like a glove. This one not so much. The right shoe had just a bit more room than then the left. Tried to give the shoes some time to conform to my feet, but my right foot and arch are in pain.

Hurt my feet after 12 hours of shift work.

I was disappointed that the pair I ordered did not fit. I had worn a 6 1/2 before. This pair was a bit shorter and therefore did not fit. I had to send it back.

Wanted to love them. My podiatrist told me to get them. My soles become hot on walks, and standing for 4 hours at a volunteer gig was crippling. The Ghosts have a great Achilles hug. Good heel cushioning. Love the look & the Gore-tex. But so very uncomfortable for moving about. #notarunner

I like the regular Ghost 14 shoe, and was excited when I saw the Ghost 14 GTX on sale, because I thought it would be perfect for messy weather since it?s water-proof. I didn?t like the construction of this shoe however since it is noticeably tighter in the toebox.

This shoe was way too small. I have worn Launch shoes in this size comfortably, but this shoe was way too small. Couldn't wear it.

The tip of the shoes are hard, not very comfortable, after a while shoes hurt the feet
