At first, I was very nervous about buying these shoes because of the price. I was very attached to my old nikes, which were surprisingly comfortable for running. However I decided to try these out and they are AMAZING. I mostly use these for my Orange Theory workouts and I feel very supported with no leg pain!

This is hands down the most comfortable running shoe I've purchased from Brooks. And with the added bonus of the warmth in the winter, I am wearing these shoes all the time. Very happy with this purchase.

Great shoe. Worth the money. The most comfortable shoes I have yet to own. I work as a veterinary nurse and am on my feet for 12 hours at a time. I used to have issues with my feet and legs. These shoes have solved my problems. I no longer have leg or foot pain from standing all day at work nor do I feel fatigued. They are also water resistant which is very important in my job. Only issue I have is that they seem to wear out a little bit appearance wise rather quickly and aren?t too durable in that aspect, the plastic parts tear and get messed up within the first week just from use at work. But I can?t complain because they are spectacular where it counts, which is comfort, support, keeping my feet dry and preventing pain. Much better than Nike in comfort. I wear them only for work. I?m going to switch my home running shoes too from Nike.

Great shoe for running in the Northwest! These are keeping my feet dry 100% better than a regular shoe and much warmer as well! I bought one pair, and then another and another to have for back ups! I highly recommend these shoes!

I wanted an athletic shoe to wear in wet/winter weather when I run agility (indoors). These worked great at a recent trial going in and outside. Fit just like my other Ghost shoes.

I run in AK and have for many years. This winter I broke down and admitted that my feet are cold on runs in snow. Got these sneakers, and they?re a game changer! I?ve run in seriously cold temps in them and stayed warm. Great traction too.

I am on my feet for 12 hours at a time, and these shoes are amazing. Super comfortable, lightweight (no tired legs from dragging around heavy feet) and supportive. Love that they are waterproof because they protect my feet from potential exposures while at work. Nice wide toebox that let my toes feel free to wiggle around but not so wide that I don't feel secure. I wish that they were just a ~little~ more soft/cushy, but nothing that is significant enough to really bother me. I still feel great on my feet after a long day. Highly recommend.

I purchased these because they were highly recommended by friends and my doctor, to wear while being treated for plantar fasciitis. The problem is the insole is too stiff and rigid to provide any pain relief. They don't look bad, and they fit great (purchased a whole size up, as recommended). I probably would have loved them before struggling with plantar fasciitis, but I can't walk around in them without being in pain. Hopefully I'll be able to wear them once it has gone away...or once the pain has lessened some.

Ghost 14 GTX fits well and has plenty of cushioning. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size and it really made a difference. When I ordered my regular shoe size, it was uncomfortably tight and made my feet hurt. The only disappointment was that the shoelaces do not stay tied when I walk unless I double-tie them. And the provided laces are too short to double-tie easily. I wish Brooks would go back to using the original laces that used to come with all their shoes.

I appreciate this Gortex model being upto the challenge of sloppy winter conditions. The shoe laces that have a challenging time staying tied tight is another story.

I love Brooks shoes. Other brands cause cramps in the feet and legs, but the Brooks are good shoes! These are my first waterproof shoes and I'm eager to try them out. Presently, it's raining so hard I'd have to have flippers on to go for a walk!

These are well cushioned so my feet don?t ache after long distances. Oddly, my left foot feels like it?s rolling outward a bit despite the wide based on the shoes.

I have had the Ghost 12 in the past and love that the Ghost 14 GTX has the same stiffer upper support (rather than being loose and spongy) The pair I received definitely fit smaller than the Ghost 12 at the same size.

I feel that the shoe does not run smaller than regular Ghost, as other reviews said. I had ordered 1/2 size larger and returned for my usual size. My only complaint is that they just do not seem as cushy, somehow. I have worn and loved Ghost, for years, so I am not sure why this is. They are great in wet weather and I am happy I have them as Fall and rains are coming soon.

They?re a little more snug in the toe box than my usual brooks at that size. Nice looking shoe. Hoping to break them in some

I bought a pair of the Ghost 14 last year, and I love them. So I bought a pair of the Ghost 14 GTX in the same size (10) and it ran way small. I had to return them and get the next half-size (10.5). The Ghost 14 GTX on the right foot is not as roomy as the Ghost 14 shoe, but with some wear, it's gotten comfortable. I probably could have gone up another half-size, but my left foot is smaller and an 11 would have been too big on that foot. I don't know why there's such a discrepancy in fit between these two Ghost 14 pairs.

I love these shoes, I broke my heel last year and they give me GREAT support. They are waterproof for a while, mine have started leaking after 3 months daily wear, so 4 stars. I?ll just have to buy more often and they are pricey, but they fit my narrow foot well. Betsy

For some reason, the R shoe, shoelace keeps coming untied. Otherwise comfortable from the get go. I'm hoping these shoes will serve me well on an upcoming Roads Scholar trip.
