Excellent shoe for walking, hiking, and trail running. Stable and supportive, super comfortable. And waterproof, which is key here in the PNW.

Purchased for a trip to the UK and for a outdoor walking shoe. Exceeded expectations. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box. Waterproof and breathable. Wore in downtown London and on 10 mile hikes though the English countryside through rainy conditions and wet sheep fields. Only concern is durability, as I have several other pairs of Brooks that have worn through the top mesh quickly (Caldera, Revel). Time will tell

I?m not a runner, I?m a walker. I walk early everyday. I love how comfortable and supportive the shoe is. I also love that they are waterproof so my feet stay dry even when it?s raining. This is my 6th pair of the Ghost 14 GTX shoes.

I love these shoes!! They keep my feet nice and dry and are awesome for walking long distances.

I already bought 3 pairs of this as I know design change and not all Brooks shoes are created equal. These are excellent shoes all around.

I'm already a fan of ghost, but the GTX is amazing, it's absolutely water proof. Your feet stay dry whether walking though wet grass or stepping in puddles. This is my second pair and probably not my last,

Love these waterproof sneakers!! I walk in the woods along muddy rocky trails, with my dogs, and these shoes make it so much better!!!! I am on my fourth pair!!!!! They are a good solid shoe, giving good support and they keep me walking in the rain, sun, sleet or snow!

Yes it definitely has skid and good for kitchen work. It helps your feet fell better after a long day of wearing boots at work.

I have been running for 10 years. My first ?real? running shoes were Brooks Ghost. They have always been perfect for me. Alas, I tried a different shoe late last year and then a few months later experienced terrible foot pain enough to see a doctor. He thought I might have fractured my foot. I was unable to run for over a month. I then thought about my new shoes and decided to go back to Ghost. I am back, baby and will never again stray.

The most comfortable Brooks yet! From the moment I put them on they fit like a glove. And, my feet stay dry!

This is the most comfortable running shoe I?ve had in years. It?s lightweight, waterproof and versatile. I?ve worn it on both hard and soft surfaces; the support is solid and my body feels great.

I am not a runner but I walk our dog 1-2 times a day for 30-40 minutes each. Mostly on roads and in any weather, so I am looking forward to my first Gore-Tex shoe. It held up well in a steady and heavy rain this morning, dry feet! I hope they will also be very breathable as claimed in the summertime when it's hot. They are very cushiony, more so than the Cascadia 15 GTX which I also ordered at the same time and compared them to. I don't need these as much for trails, I just hope these will also last at least a year, I tend to always get small rips and tears in the fabric after about 12-13 months. This is probably my 6th pair of Brooks shoe (I lost track of all my previous Brooks orders when the new website was launched which is a bummer). I love the generous return policy which allows me to try out the shoes. I ordered these a half size up because all my recent Brooks shoe orders fit very tightly. Maybe my feet grew? In Womens size 9 these fit very well. I used to wear an 8.5, or 7 in Men's, I order 9 or 7.5 now and they fit.

I already loved my ghosts but then the 14 came out and I will officially never run in a previous version of ghosts again. These feel amazing and are very responsive.
