First of all, allow me to start off by admitting: I?m not a runner. I didn?t purchase these sneakers for running. I had only and every intention of wearing them for work at the hospital. I ordered these simply because of the color/pattern. These would have been my first Brooks ever, however? sadly? I was not impressed with how they felt on my feet. They felt stiff. They felt flat. Mostly, the heel felt snug, stiff and uncomfortable. I want a sneaker that would be comfortable to stand in for over 15hrs per day. These were not/are not the sneakers for that, so I had to send these back. They are pretty though.

The Revel 2 shoe was the best that Brooks ever made. I relied on them to just always have that shoe for sale but unfortunatly they have gotten away from this high quality shoe with each new rendition of the Revel line. I walked my normal daily walk of 5 miles and my left ankle was killing me. I do have a pre-existing tendon issue but with the Revel 2 it doesn't even feel like I have an issue at all. This Revel 5 shoe misses the mark so much. It's the sole of the shoe b/c I use my own orthotics. That sole is not sturdy enough to provide adequate foot support. Unless they bring back the Revel 2, I'm off to find a new brand.

I returned these because they just weren't comfortable. The tongue doesn't go up high enough and the laces are thin, so it was difficult to get them laced tight enough to stay in place. The shoe was very lightweight, but didn't work for me.

It seemed like a nice shoe, however i take 8.5 and it was way too tight and narrow in toe box for me. Sent it back. If they have wide in this shoe i would have bought it.. i never take a wide either.

Not enough support for my flat feet. All the pressure went to the ball of my foot.

I have worn many pair of brooks shoes all in the same size. This pair fits a lot smaller than any other pair I have purchased. I am in the process of returning these shoes. Also not a very supportive shoe.

Horrible! So wanted to love these shoes but the drop is too much! Why doesn't Brooks make shoes with a less drop for runners that need it!

My first pair of Brooks were Adrenaline 20s and I wanted to try these because they were slightly cheaper, but I didn't like the fit. I have narrow feet and the upper material felt super slack, and it almost felt like my foot was going to fall off the foot bed.

I?m a loyal Brooks customer for 12 yrs. These were uncomfortable almost as soon as I started walking in them. I returned them. Virtually no arch support. My last were Revel 3?s and they were superior to the Revel 5 by far.

Have been running with the Pure Flow for years. Had to try a new shoe since the Pure Flow was discontinued. This model was recommended as a good replacement. These shoes gave me terrible shin splints. I can't even remember the last time I had shin splints. I can't even run now. I need to take a few days off to heal. Very disappointed. I loved my Pure Flows. Will be returning these. Not sure what model to try next.
