The Brooks Revel 5 are such a disappointment. These are not serious running/athletic shoes; totally just for fashion. The soles are hard and there is little to no arch support. The ribbon laces don't stay tied. These are purely for the gym or daytime. No reflective bits for outdoor activity in low light. Even on sale these were a total waste of money.

I am disappointed that these shoes do not come in wide width especially the leopard print ones. I will have to return them and settle for a different style. But I still love brooks it's the only shoe I will buy for work

This shoe is way overpriced for what it is! Poor quality, with the shoes stretching out in width immediately! Laces way too short!very

The picture for the color Baja/Bluefish/Diva looks so much better pictured online than when received. Great shoe, just not pretty in person. Returning it.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for years now and these were too narrow in the toe box...and I have narrow feet!! This is the second pair of new generation Brooks running shoes I have tried in the past month (I used to wear Ghosts but those have the same problem now too) and I guess I'm going to need to try a different brand... I don't know why Brooks changed their toe box to be more narrow! They were perfect before.

This is the second time I have purchased Brooks sneaker. Although I don't run in them, the first pair I bought were very comfortable as I am on my feet all day. This pair, not so much. Comfort level is 0 after wearing them for about 4-5 hours I wish I could return them.

I love Brooks shoes but unfortunately these shoes are not going to work for me. They feel very thin and my feet hurt after walking around in them. Also they feel very short around my ankle and my foot pops out of it while working out.

The shoes are light and stylish, the size in my toes is great, but they pinch my heels and become extremely sore after wearing them.

The back tab pulled off after 1 week when I tried to put them on. These shoes seem to be of relatively low quality and support. I do not recommend them.
I'd also recommend:
Asics, New Balance

I wanted to like these but after trying them on for treadmill and HiTT classes, I realized thY the upper material was not as soft cushioning. You can tell that this shoe material is made in the cheaper form than the other Brooks line of shoes. I returned it because it had a thinner cheaper upper liner and not enough cushion. I switched to the Transmit 3 and OMG!! I finally found the one!

As a long time Brooks runner I am very disappointed in the Revel 5s. These were my 4th pair of Revles and felt like a completely different shoe. The have no cushion and caused knee/lower back pain while running. My feet were even aching after a 3 mile run, which has never happened before. I tried to wear them to work and halfway through my 12 hour shift I had to switch shoes. Overall very disappointing.

I have a pair of Revel 3 and a pair of Revel 4 shoes so was looking forward to the Revel 5. The toe box was too shallow so that my big toe was being uncomfortably pressured so the shoes had to be returned. Very disappointed.

I love Brook shoes, however the Revel 5 just did t feel good. The heel felt lower than the rest of my foot and the support at the ball of my foot was to relaxed. I have since reordered another pair like I bought the first time and hoping to return the revel 5.

I really wanted to like this shoe, but it has virtually no arch support, and my feet seem to over pronate in them. The shoe doesn't seem as well made as other Brooks shoes I've tried, and the shoestrings are extremely thin and flimsy. Returning them.

After only a couple of months of walking on a track and wearing indoors, they soles completely deteriorated. I'm devastated as I LOVE the leopard and black and white color scheme.

Tried these to replace my pure flow?s that I wore for years as someone at Brooks told me they were comparable. These are nothing like the Pure Flow. Hurt my feet after only a couple miles. Please bring back my beloved Pure Flow?s, Brooks! Until then I will unfortunately be on the hunt for the right shoe, and these are not them.

I tried these on in a size that was too big for me in a store and thought they would work for me. I ordered a 5.5 since that is what I wore in the now discontinued PureFlows (which I absolutely loved and wore for years!) as I was told these were a similar shoe and fit. I am not sure what it is that didn't work on these for me, but I ended up with some feet/lower leg/thigh pain after adding these to my rotation. I stopped running in them for less than a week and the pains started to resolve so I am returning them.

I miss the Revel 4 and 5. These are tighter through the toe box. On the website the color looks more gold. It is actually more copper, which I did not care for.

I am a long time Brooks fan. I was not very happy with these. I had Revel 3 before and they were great. I felt like I was floating on air. I'm a walker not a runner and the first time out with this model , my shins hurt, my toes weren't happy either. Had to send them back. Hoping my next choice will be better.
